Hardware 3DS XL not powering on

I've searched through the forums, but haven't found an answer for the issue I'm having. The console will not turn on and the power LED will not turn on at any point, even for a few seconds. Connecting it to the charger with the battery inserted turns on the charge LED and connecting it without the battery will turn the charge LED on for a few seconds. I've checked both fuses and they appear to be fine. I've also disconnected all the motherboard cables and reconnected them, but still nothing.

Any other ideas what the issue could be?

maybe broken button? Bu that is relly low probability. It is really weird, that it is not even turning on the light. Nothing else on my mind right now, sorry.

but the light is not even turning on (but who knows, maybe it will help )
