Recently replaced my top LCD screen on my 3DS XL (non-new). I was able to connect the ribbon cables from the top portion to the motherboard without issue, although the thin cables connecting the right speaker to the orange PCB broke off. Since I had seen other threads mentioning how components not being attached would keep the console from booting, I was wondering if this could be the root of the problem, and how it could be fixed.

Pressing the power button doesn't turn the 3DS XL on. It will display an orange light will charging, but this will cease after less than a minute.

There's no sign of the blue LED, even when pressing the power button. The only sound I can hear is (presumably) the high-pitched tone of the battery charging.
