Hardware 3DS XL Firmware by Serial Number? HELP!

So, I bought a 2DS transparent blue, it was on 9.2, easily installed RxTools, fbi etc.
But I want a 3DS XL, I can't get used to 2DS's small screens. So, is there a list with firmware based on the serial numbers? I searched, but couldn't find anything :/ I'll be really dissapoint if i spent so much money on a 9.3+ console

Or you just buy used and ask the seller. Thats how I got one with 6.x.

Thank you, but I'll assume that this list is kinda outdated. Also, I won't buy a used one, they don't have the right prices here. So, if anyone has an updated list, I'll be grateful

correct me if i'm wrong, but new3ds's cant emulate 10.3, only up to 9.5

Yeah that list is from a time where <4.5 was required.
Honestly I would think its harder to get a 3DS XL with >9.2 in retail.
I guess you can just look for one with <=(c) 2014

oh i didn't think about that! Such a simple but effective solution XD So every 3ds xl producted on 2014, will be 9.2 without any worries?

I think 9.4 came out in December 2014, so I guess (c)2014 is very likely, but everything under should be under 9.2 100%.

that's correct. for now anyway. there are spoofers for eshop access and such though. if i were you id get a new 3ds just because they're fancier and more powerful. unless you need 10.3 for something in specific that can't be spoofed.

@dimmidice I had new3ds xl mh4 edition +sky3ds, and sold them, as I needed money, but also, because of sky's defeat from piracy checks. Even though I loved it, and I wish the 3ds xl had a c stick, I don't think that it deserves its price, at least here in greece :/

ah well you know you don't need a sky3ds right? can just put rxtools on it and use CIAs. but hey if you want a 3DS XL then go for it

@dimmidice I was over 9.2, I didn't know about cfw's either back on february. So I spent so much money on sky :/ It was worth it though, I played so many games with it. and of course mh4u on new3ds xl, true blessing, over 400+hours

@dimmidice that's nice N3ds is awesome! I would like to ask you something though. Is there anything that is supported on emunand 10.3, and not in 9.5. Like installing .cias, going online etc?

9.5 can't put badges on folders. that's really all i know of. i'm sure there'l be some things though. i'm no expert.

@dimmidice thanks. i consider buying new3ds xl again, just for monster hunter x. but it depends on the price too.
