- The screens are HUUUGE!
- DS games will get a "third life" on the bigger screen.
- The 3D effect is easier on the eye and nicer to the look.
- The technology behind the 3D might have been improved on the XL model. (To confirm)
- They think there's some kind of "filter" at works here because the pixels appear "rounded."
- "The XL is so much more comfortable to hold than the original 3DS that we have to ask what the hell has Nintendo been doing in R&D with the original model." (Paraphrased)
- The difference might be small, but the buttons felt well placed and of better quality.
- The circle pad appears bigger. (To confirm)
- Surprisingly light for its size.
- 3DS games will gain new life from the XL.
- Speakers and sounds doesn't appear to have improve. (Was in a noisy room, to confirm.)
- The XL is an upgrade on the 3DS from almost every single point.
- "the viewing angle on XL is way bigger too"

TC just gave me more reason to buy a 3DSXL! I have big hands and poor eyesight so this is a seller for me. Plus my 3DS screen has a scratch I can't bear to see...

Rounded pixels? To reduce jaggies?

I wasn't particularly interested in the 3DS but this... this looks nice.

I want to know how I can upgrade without spending $200 and THEN selling my old 3DS. Because you know, I kind of want to keep all of my stuff.
Has there been any news regarding trading in or system transferring?

Edit: like if gamestop were to have a "trade in your 3ds, get 3dsxl for x amount of money"

The better viewing angle makes it tempting... but it's just so huge and I don't have any money for it anyway.

Wow " The XL is an upgrade on the 3DS from almost every single point." Take that, people who said it's just the screen size.

Good to hear positive impressions, although I really hope the volume is boosted.

Maybe my poor English fail here, but I understand the same from the four affirmations above.

The size of top screen is almost the same of the Vita's screen right? This is both bad and good, I have a Vita and I love it inside my house, but I hate cary it with me.

Looks better than I thought. Glad I waited to jump on board the 3DS train... there's no use in getting a system before it has a decent backlog. Definitely a day one purchase!
