Hacking 3DS v4.1.0-8e - R4i Gold 3DS

Got R4i Gold 3DS cart Dec11 and now just get 'an error has occurred. press and hold the power button.....' since system upgrade. Is the cart still compatible. Its from www.r4i-gold.eu - prince caspian logo.

I have tried to update kernel etc as per the website but still same etc..

Can anyone help?

There is a box highlighted on the site "Upgrade Firmware Area", download the relevant upgrade for your cart.

You will need a DS/Lite to run the upgrade though.

Newbs never search. we have like 50 threads on this?
Kernels are the menu and game fixes
Frimwares are the cards internel bootloader.
to install a new boot loader you need to get the update from the website or just follow the steps on the website (you have to be using a console that still works with the card or else no.)
then it will work.

I have also noticed some problems with mine. I believe the latest update is 1.48, but it will not work with the latest 3DS firmware. Instead, I fixed it by using the 1.42 update and it now works.
