Go those 7 people who bought the PSP Go!
And yes, we all know it's because of the price cut.

It's to be expected really. Most people are likely holding out for the new announced lower price that comes into play in 8 days.

Those 7 people are my heroes. I want to shake their hands and offer to play God Eater Burst with them and-

*ahem*

Of course, after the price drop, it'll go up.

At least it's not something about Facebook, etc.

eh normal they wait for the price to drop
It's because of the price drop. Why buy it for (insert amount of yen here) when they could buy it for (insert discounted amount of yen here).
How many parents research into that amount of specific detail the 3DS as to find out it will be dropping in price soon before buying for their kids?

Some with more money than sense may still buy it so they can have GBA games before others or maybe a few will buy it for the purpose to resell at a higher price selling to people with even more money and even less sense for those who want those games at a later point.

Others will already own a PSP and emulate GBA until they can buy the games for 3DS.

I never realised the PSP sold more than the Wii in Japan in lifetime sales.

lol@7 people who bought PSPGo.

These sales will go up quite a bit with the price drop, at least 6 people I know are waiting.

First: In Japan this price drop probably reached everyonce since gaming industry is more important in there
Second: Not only parents are buying a 3DS for their kids, it's not a children toy you know? It's a next gen portable console =.=

Avoiding the attempt you were trying to make here, kids these days are getting pretty techy-literate at earlier ages. I was surprised this past year when I saw my 3 yo nephew using an Android phone like a pro.

7 Peeps bought PSP Go!! Now that's something even greater than the 50% drop!! LOL!

No wonder 7 is considered a lucky number

About 3DS, I expected people to go haywire with those 20 FREE games announcement, well I guess if it was actual retail 3DS games of your choice (3 that is, not 20) then the story would've been different

When you can see adults playing Dragon Quest VI on their DSi in the subway, you just know those Japanese are much more knowledgeable about games.
