    Hi everyone,

I bought a r4i dual core a week ago but also ordered a r4i gold card because I updated my ds to 4.5.0 and there wasn't an update for the dual core card yet.

Now I've got 2 cards as of today but I also see that there is an update for my dual core chip. Both cards can be send back within 14 days.

My question is which one is best to keep?

Hope you guys can help me out.

    greetings.

You should keep the R4i Gold 3DS card if its from r4ids.cn.

Have you ever seen an R4 team with dual cores that doesn't drop support after practically every update, so people don't have to buy new cards every time?
Exactly, so I suggest stick with the R4i Gold if it is from r4ids.cn, since they are the most reliable team out there right now along with the Supercard team.

If you've spent a total of around $40, i'd send them both back and just buy the Supercard DSTwo.

    R4ids.cn
they have 10 revisions of the r4igold card
they dropped 6 with the 4.4.0-10 update and just cut another 3 with the 4.5.0-10

Ordered it on a dutch site the r4i gold, but they refer to the one with the rev c so it works with 4.5.0. Also they order it from out of holland so I guess it is a good one but don't know if it is ordered from r4isd.cn?

But the gold one is better than the dual core?

Like it's been mentioned before elsewhere, the dual core is just marketing to make you think it's better.

The "dual core" phrase is a lie, like gamer said.

    Thanks all,

Decided to keep the gold card.
But I've got a little problem.
Put on the new release of today, changed language to ducht after which the 3ds asker to rrestart.
It got into a loading screen which is still on my screen after an half an hour.
    Is this normal?
