What error is showing on the screen when you try to update the console?

"An error has occured. Unable to update. The system will now be restarted."

There is a better ctrtransfer script for you. lemme see if i can find it.

Someone please help me. I have been running luma3ds v10.0.1 . It has been running smoothley but when I am trying to turn it on now it shows errdisp generic error.

Thank you. I updated my 3DS successfully before following the CTRTransfer guide.
I cannot link my nnid somehow.
I got this error 022-2591 : NNID has already been linked tto another system in the 3DS family.
Is there any way to solve this without calling nintendo support?

I used to have another 3DS. But I do not think I had ever gone online with that device.
If I remember it correctly, my nnid is linked with my current 3DS.

This 3DS uses CFW, is it safe to contact nintendo regarding this error?

Hmmm. That error would say otherwise. You will need to contact ninty about getting that NNID transfered to your current system you use.

I am not sure whether I can use this Help Ticket.
It requires me to enter my old 3DS's S/N.
I still have my Old 3DS picture that shows S/N at the back of its body.

old 3DS : US Reg CFW, Asia Reg HW
current 3DS : US Reg CFW, US Reg HW.

Is it save to use that Help Ticket?

Just cause they refused one dont automatically mean they gonna say no. Just provide them the info they ask for and see what happens.

Like Lonewolf said, the Sys version will stay there. It is on mine, too.

If you have successfully used the VC injector, you're fine and you did everything right.

Sys means you are running SysNAND under Luma3ds so you are in CFW.

Just cause they refused one dont automatically mean they gonna say no. Just provide them the info they ask for and see what happens.

Maybe they ban you because you are giving them a S/N and that model is US. But if they search in their system it is Asia Region what only possible is with CFW. And then they don't just say no but maybe they ban you.

Trying to go from A9LH to B9S. Following the guide on 3ds.hacks.guide.

I'm currently on LUMA 7.0.5.

I've copied all the files in the guide into their respective folders. When I follow the guide to launch into SafeB9SInstaller, it doesn't take me to it. It just launches into Homebrew launcher. I've presses Start+Power numerous times, and that's all it does. I've re downloaded, copied the files over and over again, not sure what the problem is.

Pic Below is the SD Root. I haven't touched the 3DS in a long time, so not sure if everything needs to be on the 3DS, i've just left everything as it is, since all the games and stuff work for the time being.

Payloads folder just has SafeB9SInstaller.bin inside.

I have a friend who is thinking about buying a 3DS and he would like to flash it. Is homebrew still the best way to go? And is it possible to transfer some of my games from 3DS to his system? So we don't have to download .cia files anew.

I don't know if that is possible but you can transfer everything (maybe with some help of faketik) and then delete what you don't want

If you press <current directory> in the directory with all of your CIA files, you can select an option that says "Install all CIA's".

Select it, and it will download all the files one by one until they are all finished.

Unfortunately, no. I've been in the same situation. The best thing you could do, is make a folder for all of the CIA's youd like to install at one time.
