Now that I have 9.2 on my 3DS what do I do now? While there are plenty of guides on installing different things I'm not sure what to install or do from this point. Can anyone tell me some useful things to install and what they do?

A good place to start would be rxTools.

The only other thing I can suggest is SaveDataFiler if you want to make save backups.

hi! so.. i used to follow the 3ds scene a year ago, i used to put pasta cfw on my 3ds xl(old) using cubic ninja, unfortunally i've used my sd for other stuff.. now i want to update all the system with cfw and stuff, where do i start? sorry for my bad english

And I did everything fine up to Step 4 of the CFW- RXTOOLS section.

It is telling me to download rxtools and then put it onto my sd, but wont that replace my existing rxtools folder?

It is also telling me to download another release for o3DS, my device, another rxtools folder.

It is then telling me to find firmware.bin on the internet, but I remember generating one with my rxtools tools.

I am very confused. What do I do?

You can't do a system transfer unless your systems are updated :/ When doing a system transfer, it connects to the internet and checks your firmware I believe :c

If you want to coldboot, get menuhax setup. Rename the rxTools.3dsx file to boot.3dsx(put it in the root of your SD) and move your exisiting boot.3dsx somewhere else. From now on, instead of homebrew it'll directly go into rxTools

It does not go into homebrew right now. It just goes to sysNAND, where then I need to go to the browser, then 3ds.reboot, then rxtools, then boot into emuNAND.

Open HBL through browserhax. Then select menuhax manager. Then install. Then go to haxx trigger configuration(or something of the sort. It will be an option below install in menuhax manager) Select type 2, press L(or whatever button you want) and touch the lower screen. Now menuhax will automatically load into HBL(or whatever boot.3dsx is), unless you press L when the system turns on

I think I may have messed up my HBL. When I try to enter HBL via browser hax, after I click the end of the slider while holding A (i have an o3DS), it boots me into rxTools, but I can't do anything, then after about 30 seconds it shoves me into my emuNAND without me doing anything :s.

How can I fix my HBL?

If you want to enter the rxTools menu, then you have to hold L before the splash appears.

Er is there a way to do it without needing to unlink nands? I hate having to reset up menuhax and all that jazz.
