Noob question: What's the difference between ->RX-E<- & ->RX3D<-? My 3DS used to have the 2nds name, now it has the 1rst, is the 'E' for emunand? .o.? and and if so, what is RX3D?

If i install a cia file succesfully, where does it get installed? on the system memory? .__. and, can i delete it (when installed) from teh SD?

Short Question , cause i found different answers: is it possible or safe to downgrade a N3DS from 10.3 to 9.2? Or is it better to look after a N3DS with 9.2 or lower?

Current setup: N3ds SysNAND 9.2 EmuNAND 10.4 with access to eshop.

In order to allow my emunand to access the eshop I had to run tinyformat, regular format we giving me a 002 eshop error. Tinyformat did the trick and my Nnid is now linked to my emunand. I had created a backup of my emunand with the emunandtool.

The only issue is I have roughly 5gb of data left in my Nintendo 3ds folder on my SD card. Can I delete said data? Should I chalk it up to lost space and not care? I had a back up of my emunand that I tried to inject but the emunandtool 1.0.3 gave me an error on injection saying it was the wrong size.

Either get a Gateway or a Sky3DS.

That doesn't matter to New3DS, as it comes with amiibo support out of the box.

Sadly not it seems, I dont have amiibo settings in the menu.

When i go on smash bros i am unable to get it to recognise amiibo.

Yes of course the N3DS has Amibosupport without any extrahardware

When i go on smash bros and select register amiibo it asks me to put the amiibo on the touchscreen, when i do this nothing happens. Tried with 2 brand new amiibo from nintendo(Toon Link, Link).

Managed to Fix this myself.

If anyone else has this issue you will need to update to version 9.5.

I just had a strange idea.
If I downgrade a N3DS and then update its EmuNAND to 10.3, can I transfer the data from another N3DS (I mean everything account, saves, etc) like when you buy a new console and transfer the data from the old one?

Is there a way to have several profiles in emunand ? I'd like to get different friend codes and I don't want to mess up with rxtools.

After updating to 10.4 with CakesFW + NTR I keep getting a 003-0399 error on my Japanese n3DS LL whenever I try to connect to the internet in my .cia games, updating to 10.5 doesn't seem to solve the problem either! FWIW the games are different region from my n3DS's. How do I fix this? Googling seems to be giving suggestions for Gateway only.

EDIT: Never mind, found the updates config.cia from "that iso site", and it works like a charm! Hopes this help others!

Im planning on downgrading my n3ds and getting emunand. 80% of my games are installed as cia's at the moment.

Cakes and RxTools, yes.

Pasta is for booting into sysnand.
