The SD card? If you're using a non-XL 3DS, there will be a little panel on the left side of the 3DS that opens; the SD card is in there. If you're using a 3DS XL, the panel will be on the right side of the 3DS.

this question probably has been thrown out there a lot, but does anyone know if there's a way to set the 3DS so it doesn't boot into sysnand everytime you close system settings on Emunand? Or the 3DS rebooting after closing system settings in sysnand?

No, there won't be a way to solve that issue either.

Right now, I have a downgraded 10.3 -> 9.2 O3DS XL.
I've been trying out PokEdit QR, and that works fine.
But then I came across PKHEX, and just realized I could've just dumped my OR game save...
Anyway...
After the downgrade, I cam across a familiar pet peeve: foreign vulgar words in names being blocked.
Somewhere in the 10.x OFWs, Ninty must've made a whitelist, with names like Asuka and Violet (suka [RUS], viol [FR]).
I miss the fact that I could finally not use the symbol keyboard...
Nevertheless, I kind of regret the downgrade, as I lost my homescreen layout, my folders, my badges, etc.

Noting that OFW 10.4 is out now, is it possible to use "that" site and upgrade back to 10.3?
After reading on with the "promise" Gateway is doing for 10.3 users, I'm contemplating on using the cart method instead of CFW.
(Problem is my bank doesn't allow international payments, therefore I use PayPal, but of course modchip sites disallow PP for obvious reasoning; US resident, would like US sites, thanks.)

I've used Sky3ds+ to run CubicNinja in order to install NinjHax.
I just want to run HANS so that I can take screenshots. The problem is that after getting into HANS I can't select the game that I wish to play because CubicNinja is what is open now.
Is there a way to cycle through games on the Sky3ds while I'm in this HANS menu??

Is there a way to minimize HBL and then switch my Sky3ds to the game I want?

Do you have access CFW?
I heard ReiNAND and RxTools can take screenshot but not sure how.
NTR CFW can run along with those and as a comand to take screenshot.

I accessed eShop perfectly from the hax app on a N3DS with emunand 10.3, but when I tried to access it on another N3DS with sysnand on 9.9 it gives me an error.

so, I think that means the method doesn't work on 9.9, right? is there a way I can access it on that N3DS? I don't want to downgrade that system just right now

No, as you need CFW to spoof the system thinking you are 10.3 and have the broswer version 28

Please i need help i downgraded to 9.2, and i'm trying to install rxtools. When i access to the RX3D mode and try to update my emunand it "updates" but looks like it doesn't do anything >___< then i go to the rxtools page to 'other options', and i try to install FBI on the Health and safety thing via emunand, the first time it worked, but when i reeboted to the main menu again (launching it on the emunand option) a little loading thing appears saying it's loading the main menu, but it quickly disappears X__X and i get a black screen.

I don't know what to do, please help me. :C

I hope you made a nand back up of your emuNAND.
As for the update part: delete the home theme folder from the extdata of your emuNAND

Look up that link to find out what were your Extdata is, and delete the Home Menu theme folder. use the link to find out which number is the home menue them folder of your region.

What cause the problem is you have menuhax in your emuNAND, and this should remove menuhax.
If you didn't make a nand backup, i think it still might work.

Hmm, so if i delete those files (with incude menuhax [OMG i didn't know it was stored there D:]) everything should be ok?

Ya, miss my folder layout i had before the downgrade so I know the feeling. But you can set everything back up.
if you set unlink your 3ds NAND, and set up EmuNAND correctly, you can update emuNAND to 10.4 and be fine (10.4 doesn't do anything to emuNAND and CFW once it set up, it only blocks it from being set up). You can do this from system setting.

Technically, you can upgrade to 10.3 on your EMUNAND with that iso site.

I repeat, ONLY IF YOU UNLINK YOUR 3DS NAND and set up EMUNAND AND CFW.

Considering your main need is for pokemon, you don't need to use the computer to use pkhex, as there are homebrew versioin of pkhex, so you can do everything from your 3ds.

Wait, first thing before downgrading? That not possible as it shouldn't be possible to make a emuNAND backup before you are on 9.0-9.2.
Do you mean first thing after downgrading/before setting up emuNAND.

Menuhax is not actually stored there, but typically the fact you change your theme breaks/uninstall menuhax. If you delete your theme setting, it uninstall menuhax as well.

A sight claification so you understand this the NAND a bit more.
nand.bin is like the OS of your 3ds, of which you made a back up of it.
Once people downgrade, when people say they make an EmuNAND, it like making a windows partition on the computer (well SD card in this case). it becomes and OS on your 3DS (sysNAND), and OS on your SD card (emuNAND).
Note, the files for the back of sysNAND is called NAND.bin and emuNAND is called emunand.bin; Yes NAND.bin from sysNAND is same name as before you make a EmuNAND. Please take note of this.
From now on, you don't want to mess with your sysNAND.
Yes, a NAND.bin can be restored as a emuNAND.bin.

And the tool you want to use to back up is emunand tool Verson 1.0.1 (not 1.0.3, which does not restore)

most guides said to make EMUNAND before setting up CFW.

@YyAoMmIi OMG no noo, sorry i downgraded first, after all that proccess i made a backup of emunand on the gateway page. Sorry X_x and in the same gateway page there's an option to format your SD card (then it renames) So if i format my SD i don't thing menuhax was the problem or..? idk :C

Aso yeah i thing i have a back up of that nand thing, and no, i heard we don't have to touch the sysnand (now thanks to you i know what it is o.o).

I'm already on 9.2.0 and i can't access homebrew, what could be bothering the reboot of the main menu then?

I have to ask, is there any conflict in the NAND when the same game, but different region, needs to create extra data in the SD?

Like, in smash bros or fire emblem which needs to create some stuff in the SD. Do those SD files conflict due to being the same, but different region? Or does the 3Ds differentiates them?
