I'm getting confused. Why would you want to decrypt and extract into cia form?
Or is that really just developer usage and if I just download from that iso site, I shouldn't worry about Xorpads?
So again, Braindump and HANS?Uh, when I mean decrypt and extract the game, I mean ripping out the actual game files and stuff. Then you'd need Xorpads to rebuild your game into a playable CIA.
So again, Braindump and HANS?
Main difference is one is where you make an actual playable cia and the other is something you run at the same time/Romhack to say.
But overall function is similar?
It actually installed into the Nintendo 3ds folder, in the emunand folder itself. However, it can only be used if the key (the number of the emunand folder) matches with your Nand, emunand in this, which is the OS of the 3ds.If I backup EmuNAND , does that mean it would back all Apps and CIA Games that are installed as well?
If it doesn't how do u backup the Apps/Games?
Once 10.4 comes out you can't access the e-shop to redownload those apps...e.g. youtube?
So how can we backup those apps?
So if we restore that emnuNand, do we need to reinstall all the apps and cia Games download?
Will the EmuNand backup always be the size of the hidden partition ie. about 1.84gb?
Reinand has it built in so it already has itDoes ReiNand need/support slot0x25KeyX.bin to play the latest games?
Use either svdt, or the official nintendo physical to digital app.Is there a way of extracting a save file from my original pokemon OR and put it into my CIA version?

The Nand, or Emunand in this case is the OS of the 3ds.
If you don't do anything to the 3ds folder, then if you restore the correct nand, you don't need to reinstall.
And yes, that size is right.
Reinand has it built in so it already has it

Thanks thedude28. Look like I'll update to reinand when ntr support comes out.
Use either svdt, or the official nintendo physical to digital app.
You could try SaveDataFiler too.
What the error?I assume i need to get that from the Eshop? Everytime i try to acces it on CFW (10.3) i get an error, any idea what that could be?
How did you dump your nand?Hey...
so I followed instructions for installing rxTools on my 3DS, and along the way, there was some big screw up.
I suspect that the SD card ran out of memory (even tho I had 2GB freed up) when the NAND was dumping and it became incomplete, which messed everything up.
To unlink the two NANDs, I obviously had to format sysNAND, but I quickly found out after doing so that my emuNAND was blank as well.
So, that said, because I'm kind of panicking right now, is there any possible way I can get back all of my old data, or am I just going to have to face the facts and use a blank 3DS?
UseDumped it using the EmuNAND9 program.
It claimed it was complete, but opening it with the EmuNAND Tool on PC brings up an error, saying it is an invalid size.
Actually, I would link emunand more to bios, or the data the country of the 3ds runs on, and cfw like reinand are the OSWhat is the difference between reinand and emunand?
Please explain using PC as example...
e.g BIOS and OS
You, my friend, are a life saver.Use
emuNANDTool_1.0.1
That an anti save restore problem that games like pokemon/smash use to prevent the.
What save system are you using?
SVDT has something called anti anti save restore to block that.
Save manager doest
Not sure about SaveDataFiler
That problem is only for digital games and not physical games
Sdm doesn't have aart so expected that doesn't work.i have 2 backups - Sava Data Filer and Save Data Manager - Both are not working
Sdm doesn't have aart so expected that doesn't work.
Go use svdt instead
