where are that tutorial that teach how to use already blocked DS flashcard on emunand/ GW classic mode? I can't find it =A=
So wait - I can't keep my SysNAND saves for EmuNAND?
This is a really stupid question, but I couldn't find an answer because the gbatemp search function cuts out short words. I have a split 4 GB rom (.3d0 and .3d1), and I'd like to know what I've got do in order to rejoin the files. I've tried using gateway's supplied tools, but those only let me split it. I didn't see any indication on rejoining.
type rom.3d0 > rom.3ds
type rom.3d1 >> rom.3ds
type rom.3d2 >> rom.3ds
type rom.3d3 >> rom.3ds
cat rom.3d0 rom.3d1 rom.3d2 rom.3d3 > rom.3ds
I am not entirely sure on it so wanted to ask: I have bin using Gateway and emunand for a while now and I am currently on emunand 9.5 as of writing this. My sysnand is 8.1 and so I was wondering, is it possible to downgrade my sysnand and still use my emunand and the saves created with emunand and Gateway card when i down grade to sysnand 4.0-4.5 or will emunand not work or will the saves not work. Since I want to down grade but I am afraid of emunand or saves not working any more even though save were created with emunand and Gateway 3ds flash card. Well thanks for reading and thanks for any information ya can give me.
P.S. Emunand was created from 8.1 sysnand
Anyone please?Hello there,
Pókemon Omega Ruby is Card2-game, right? Why do I have a "000400000011C400.sav" on my SD-card? I never used the CIA-version, only my dumped 3DS-game (Gateway).

Yes you can. When creating an emuNAND, you literally copy your sysNAND onto your SD card, and because the same ID is shared between both NANDs, you will be able to read the SD card contents with both NANDs (unless you unlink them).
I still don't quite get it. At the moment, on my SD card, there are alot of saves, but if i were to install EmuNAND, id have to format the card. Will simply backing the saves to my PC, formatting the card, installing emuNAND, and moving the saves back to the SD card work?

Open a CMD in the directory where your dumps are located (or create a .bat file with the following commands) and type:
etc... (Only the first one has a single ">")Code:type rom.3d0 > rom.3ds type rom.3d1 >> rom.3ds type rom.3d2 >> rom.3ds type rom.3d3 >> rom.3ds
For UNIX-like OSes (Mac, Linux) that'd be:
Code:cat rom.3d0 rom.3d1 rom.3d2 rom.3d3 > rom.3ds
Thanks!
Btw, talking in emuand, I have linked emunand, but the digital content I got on emunand don't apear on the sysnand, this is how it should work, right?
1) Is it safe to update my titles? For example. I have Majora's Mask 3DS on my Gateway, and before I launched it, it said there was an update for the game. Is it stupid to update? I am assuming yes, but I wanna be sureIf I should never update, is there a way to get the nag away every time I boot the game?
2) None of my DSiWare (legitimately purchased) will run in emuNAND. Is this the case for everyone else? Electroplankton, Shantae Risky's Revenge, Zelda Four Swords all crash when I try to run them in EmuNand. Again I purchased all of these legally, I just wanted to see if I was the only one.
Is it possible to transfer a save from a EU version to a US version if you have them set to the same header? Or is there a tool that does this?
Also I just realized something. Since I'm going to be playing MH4 online, but wanna get a JP N3DS since it's easier to acquire here, will I eventually run into problems when the game needs to update? My EU MH4 was letting me know there's an update in the eshop but I guess I couldn't download it because of my NA 3DS. It's not an update to play online, but it made me realize before I played the game too long that I might encounter the situation at some point.
Anyone please?
Didn't even know you could use ds flashcarts in emunand/classic mode. Thought it would break the ds mode exploit and you had to reinstall it.where are that tutorial that teach how to use already blocked DS flashcard on emunand/ GW classic mode? I can't find it =A=
If your emuNAND is unlinked from your sysNAND, it should not appear, however, if it's linked, all the content will also appear on sysNAND. "linked" means that both NANDs have the same ID (a.k.a. you haven't formatted any of them after creating the emuNAND).
it's ok I dismissed everything and I knowwhat I wnat to do, to play it XDDidn't even know you could use ds flashcarts in emunand/classic mode. Thought it would break the ds mode exploit and you had to reinstall it.
