I must have been high or something cause I just tried loading Pokemon X again and it loaded my save. :S Very weird..then it's strange.

Eshop is one route you can take. The other is load the backup of sysnand and your SD card you made before you set up emunand.I must have been high or something cause I just tried loading Pokemon X again and it loaded my save. :S Very weird..
Now that that is solved, any way to get my digital apps back on sysnand or does that require eshop access?
1. Not sure. Consult the emnand / save data mega guide at the top of this sub. mmm really knows this stuff.- If a game is played on a 4.5 sysnand 3DS (9.5 emunand, latest GW launcher) can that save then be transferred to another 3DS that is running lower emunand? Theoretically the N3DS once GW supports it?
- Is it possible to install updates from roms or only official carts?
Quick question:
I saved my "Nintendo 3DS"-folder before dumping SysNAND/creating EmuNAND/formatting SysNAND (unlinking).
As you know, there are cryptic folders within the "Nintendo 3DS"-folder.
____________________________________________________________________________
Before formatting etc.
Nintendo 3DS\aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa\11111111111111111111111111111111 => I saved this folder to my PC. This is my original SysNAND-content.
After formatting
Nintendo 3DS\aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa\22222222222222222222222222222222 => EmuNAND-folder
Nintendo 3DS\bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb\33333333333333333333333333333333 => SysNAND-folder, which we can ignore.

How do I get my eShop-stuff back?
Do I copy the dbs, extdata, title from 11111111111111111111111111111111 into the new folder 22222222222222222222222222222222?
Or do I delete 22222222222222222222222222222222 and replace it with 11111111111111111111111111111111?
Well I got my CFW working (Palantine), but when trying to boot the CIA's I have imported, it just stays at the 3ds screen with the wavey things coming from each corner. Is there a certain reason for this? I tried Shovel Knight and Persona Q
Well, plenty of people have said in the Error Code 002-0102 thread that 3DS consoles are less likely to be banned if you're using an unlinked emuNAND. It sounds like a load of BS to me, but just in case, I'm planning to create and use an alternate, unlinked emuNAND for now (keeping a backup of my current one). I want to have the option of later restoring and going back to my main emuNAND and keeping it linked, as linked NANDs have some advantages. So if I formatted my sysNAND, it would no longer be linked when I restored the emuNAND backup. Hope that was clear.Formatting emunand will wipe all the contents, but yes it is safe. Most people format sysnand, some reason you want to format emunand?
Not exactly a noob but I've been out of it for a while and need a little refresher to get myself upto date.
I've got a 4.5fw 3DS and Gateway running some version of Omega, not sure which off the top of my head. It's definitely got multi-rom support.
As is, am I going to have any issues playing something new like say Monster Hunter 4 or Majora's Mask?
And is it worth updating to the current Gateway 3.x beta?

You will have installed the games in emunand, correct?i have 3DSXL on 9.2 with update nag
i want to keep it for a while on it
but i need to install some games update and extend my pokebank sub
if i update to emunand 9.5 and used the web exploit , then download some games from eshop
and after that , i turned off my 3DS it will return to sysnand 9.2
the games i installed , they will still there ?
Not sure. I always pull my SD when I format sysnand.Well, plenty of people have said in the Error Code 002-0102 thread that 3DS consoles are less likely to be banned if you're using an unlinked emuNAND. By the way, doesn't using the System Format option wipe your SD's contents? And if so, it doesn't affect the emuNAND partition, does it?
The mSD in the gateway. Some people use an mSD with adapter in the 3DS.Where do I need to put 3DS/3DZ-files into? The root of the MicroSD?
I'm asking about the *.3DS/3DZ-dumps. Does the mSD support subfolders? The mSD in the gateway. Some people use an mSD with adapter in the 3DS.
1. Before doing all this Gateway-stuff I backed up the "Nintendo 3DS"-folder from my SD-card.What do you mean back? It should all be on emunand where it is supposed to be. If you are another one that wants to go rogue and use sysnand have at it. Can't help you with the folder structure. Sorry.
My point is using the term mSD does not specify what SD card you are refering to.I'm asking about the *.3DS/3DZ-dumps. Does the mSD support subfolders?
I'm talking about the MicroSD (in the red GW-card). I was just confused that BigBlueMenu supports subfolders on the internal SD-card (the big one inside the 3DS) and GW doesn't regarding my dumps on the MicroSD.My point is using the term mSD does not specify what SD card you are refering to. GW does not support folders for the files on its mSD card.
You should set up emunand if you haven't already. Afterwards, update emunand and use the latest launcher.dat (all you need to do is replace the launcher).
If you do not know if you set it up I suspect you did not.Is there any way I can tell whether I've setup emunand?
