Two questions, one about luma settings and the other about twilightmenu settings on my new3dsxl

1.) why aren’t all the luma3ds (v13.1.2) settings saving? Changing the screen temp works fine but enabling higher clock and cache seem to reset even after saving. Whenever I open a new game or return to menu it resets.

2.) in twilight menu (v 27.7.0 , bootstrap version 1.6.2) where is the universal settings for vram , dsi mode and cpu speed? I can only see them on a game by game basis but it has a default setting so… where it at.

Do you mean you see the error in Checkpoint, or do you mean you see the error when you start the game after attempting to restore the save?

In any case there is evidently something wrong with the save you are trying to restore.

When i start the game, I think so also since its pretty old. Im probably gonna ask for someone to give me save. Thanks for help

Hello, i finally got answer to this error every save has slot00.bin, slot 01.bin, slot 02.bin and system.bin.
So the solution is to launch the game make a backup and then replace only slots.bin and keep your own system.bin.

Apologies if I made a forum post on this too, but I'm so mad right now.

Anyways, I'm using the YANBF DS Forwarder for 3DS. Every time I make and add a game, when I open it the console restarts.

I installed the forwarder,
the game is in the roms/nds folder,
I installed TWiLight Patcher++,
EVERYTHING worked except the game.

Yes, I want the smexy banners n' sounds for my DS games.
No, I'm not using other forwarders that just act like DSi games.
No, I'm not using the TWiLight Menu by itself.
Yes, I'm probably an idiot.

So, I'm trying to reinstall Pokémon Sun with CIAs from three different sources yet I keep on getting the 0xd8e0806a error.

-I have reformatted the SD card and checked it for errors. None detected.

-developer userinfo is disabled.

-I have the latest versions of FBI, Luma, and even tried updating the official firmware.

-I did have a remaining ticket from the previous install, deleted it (and all other unused tickets), but no dice.

Is there anything else I can try?

Check the size of the cia file on pc. Sometimes an antivirus or even the firewall can interfere with downloading some files. So try to use a different browser and see if it gets you the same filesize. Another thing you can try is after copying the cia file to the sd card(if the file is good) use the "Eject media safely" on windows

Make sure you're not just downloading the same CIA from three different places. You can do that by checking the hashes of each file and seeing if they're identical.

I want the new line to be:

I've tried using devKitpro, but I'm getting some citrus errors and the citrus source code was taken down off github. I'm a noob in this.

The main reason I asked because New Super Mario Bros. 2 creates something on the SD card. So I'm worried for those games. The Mario Party games, Smash, Super Mario Maker 3DS.

Do those games fully save on the cartridges?

Yes they do, game progress is saved to the cartridge itself, spotpass and streetpass data from cart and or digital games are saved to the microSD/System memory

Oh thank you. I need to get my microSD card working in my New 3DS XL which is a pain since it's behind a plate. Seriously worst thing Nintendo ever did. Before you think "it's easy to open" it is NOT for people with health issues or other disabilities. So I'm using my old XL atm. And my old non-XL for carrying around.

I know that, it's just that I use my other 3DS for the time being until I get some people to help open my New 3DS XL so I can format my microsd on PC and try again.
