I can't seem to jailbreak my 3DS and I have follow every step on https://3ds.hacks.guide/ and when insert SD card into 3DS SafeB9SInstaller won't boot.
Please help me.
A. How did you go about trying to boot into it?
B. Did you make sure your file structure is correct?
C. it's important to retrace your steps when modding a console.
D. Please try to be more specific about your problem next time as it's a bit
hard to assist you based on lack of details on the issue.

I have a whole bunch of Nintendo DS/3DS systems. However, what I would like is an R4 type card that supports a decent size MicroSD card which I can store ad play .ds and .3ds files from AND it will support cheats in text files on the card (like Atmosfear etc on the Switch). Does such a thing exist or do I need to have one card for DS (a standard R4) and another card for the 3DS (like a Gateway)?

I know the 3DS can be softmodded and CIAs installed but I'd rather have an all in one card system if such a thing is available.

I got a 3ds with Luma already setup, v12.0.01. I used FBI to install a CIA file. It took a long time to install and at the end has an error, it didn't install.

Code:
Failed to install CIA file
Result code: 0xE0E083F2
Level: Usage (28)
Summary: Invalid argument (7)
Module: AM (32)
Desc: Misaligned size (1010)

The result code in google didn't bring up much for me, hoping someone here can point me in the right direction, I'm a super noob at 3DS stuff I never had one before.

i've normally gotten this when trying to install a fairly large cia via QR code, or if my connection is unstable do you think that could be an issue? just throwing ideas out there for ya

In my case, I downloaded the CIA file separately and put it on the SD card, so network connection shouldn't be a factor I assume. You are right the file is large, about 1.2 GB.

pretty sure dstwo+ can do both ds and 3ds on one cart, but because you need to run gateway launcher to be able to run the 3ds ones, I dont necessarily know if you can get compatibility for newer games that need newer firmware

but also, good luck actually finding a dstwo+ lol

Yes the save editor checkpoint has a built in cheat system and if one you want isn't there and you find it randomly on the internet, you can add it via the text file in the cheats folder that's named after the title ID of said game

Can anyone provide me with Pokémon Ultra Moon (v1.2) Experience multiplier code please?
to my knowledge there's only one for ultra sun, your best alternative is giving yourself rare candies through PKSM or PKHEX by dumping your save via checkpoint

ill double check the version later. Issue somewhere, just trying to figure out where. How do I manually add cheats or another version of Metroid. Samus Returns?

Hey, so I have my 3DS homebrewed, I have TWiLight Menu++ installed, and I've been having an issue where everything DS/DSi boots up with the top screen stretched to widescreen. It's been so long since I set this all up, that I'm fairly certain I did something to make it like this, but now I don't remember how, and I can't turn it off. Please help. I just want my clean pixels back (without the tiny pixel-perfect screen size). If it helps to possibly diagnose, whenever I boot a DS game while holding select, the screen doesn't become pixel perfect, it just slides the top display down and the bottom display up so that they both are cropped and misaligned with the screen.

EDIT: Since posting this question, I had deleted a file in _nds/TWiLightMenu/extras that was called "widescreen.pck" and it didn't seem to fix anything. It was also in _nds/ntr-forwarder, deleting that also changed nothing.

Is there any other cheat engine for the 3DS apart from Checkpoint? Curious
there's the NTR cheat plugin, but it's a bit outdated and will most likely have the same cheats that are present within checkpoint if not less, as I'm pretty sure the codes themselves originated from the days when people used powersaves but ofc those have become obsolete and you could argue the NTR plugin has as well, so in my opinion stick with checkpoint, as there's not much else i can advise and as stated above you asked how to manually add cheats i answered that but to add one that's for a specific version and make it work for a different one is beyond me and not a question i can answer unfortunately

When I use NSUI (injector) to play the english patch of Final Fantasy V (Snes), the game just goes black screen and the only way to exit it is to force the console to shut down (press power button for few seconds).
This problem doesnt happen if I use the clean rom without ips patches.

Injects can be finicky like that with rom hacks unfortunately, i suggest using the updated fork of SNES9x which can be found via the universal updater
