On my 3DS the gpSP CIA gives a kernel panic error when I enter my game roms directory to load the game. How can I fix this? Any help is appreciated.

Question about an old DS flashcart.

I have a CycloDS flashcart that I had gotten many years ago for my NDS lite.

Is it compatible with the latest gen 3ds/2ds? - realizing it won’t allow me to load 3ds roms.

Would like it mainly for homebrew (nes/snes/gameboy) and ds games.

It is firmware v1.57B1 if that matters.

I bought a used old 3ds xl to install cfw in. I tried doing browser hax using 3ds.guide and it connects to the internet fine through settings but once I open browser it disconnects. Not sure why this is happening. My fw version is 8.1.0-12U. Is there any other way to install cfw or do I need to update to 9.2 or similar? Is there a way to update without a cartridge? From what I've read updating with a cartridge does not install Nintendo 3ds sound which I wanted to try soundhax. Thanks in advance.

I've read that o3DSes that were cart-updated to 9.8 or older have a "dummy browser" which is completely useless.

When I open up the browser? Nope I don't get any nag. At all actually. Only when I open up eshop. And I'm only on 8.1 so idk about the dummy browser.

So the browser just straight up shuts off when you open it? Strange.
You might have to use ntrboothax, but can't confirm.

Well it doesn't close. It just disconnects me from the internet. So in home menu I'm connected but once i open the browser the top left goes from internet to enabled. And I can't go to any web site. Throws an error saying there's no internet access. So I can't access the browserhax web sites shown on the 3ds.guide

Can you access any other online features? I've never seen this before. It sounds like a problem with your internet, not your 3DS
EDIT: Set your DNS settings to "auto" (idk if that works or not)

Hmm I've never owned a 3ds before. What other options can I try? I mean when I connected through the system settings menu it passed the connection test. Also I tried Hotspot from my phone and connected to that too. But same issue happened with the browser.

Make sure "auto-obtain DNS" is enabled in your connection settings

1. Launch the browser, then launch the browser settings
2. Scroll to the bottom and Initialize Savedata (it also may be called Clear All Save Data)
3. Try the exploit again

I bought a used New 3DS, it came with a bunch of games and the console is in the name of the old owner, i would like to start fresh using my nintendo account, is it possible? I dont mind if the games get deleted, i can download again in the free eshop. It has Luma v8.1.1, i dont know what more, because i dont know how to look, thanks.

Tried the DNS and running initialize savedata. Didn't work for either. I'm starting to think Nintendo has some sort of block for old browsers? My browser version is 1.7616. I included pics of what's going on. Is there any other way I can get cfw? Should I just return my 3ds? Thanks.
