Ok so I have a New 3ds XL with CFW with the latest luma, and I used PKSM. So, I pressed on the pokemon black or white without the cartridge inserted, and it led to the charging screen normally, but I tried to keep pressed the power button to turn off the crash and such. It got me to a black screen with letters saying Arm11 exception and it got me scared. I turned it on and it worked fine, but when I turned off the 3ds again while playing pokemon moon it said the same error again. It hasn't happened again, should I be afraid?
I have an old 3ds with firmware 4.5. I use gateway cart to play .3ds and .cia files (CFW 10.6) . I stopped playing it for 6-7 months but now I want to play some new games. I checked the gateway site seems like it's a dead project and ppl are suggesting boot9strap.
Before installing boot9strap, I want to make sure that with boot9strap I can play all the old and new .3ds and .cia files.
Any help is appreciated, thanks

With boot9strap and CFW you'll be able to install and play any .cia file, but you won't be able to play .3ds files.I have an old 3ds with firmware 4.5. Just follow 3ds.guide and you'll be fine.
guys i installed cfw on my 2ds xl using game injection.. everything went ok. til i was trying to install a game. keeps getting me an error. please help. noob here.. please make it simple so i can understand. thank you
What error are you getting? What app are you using to install games? What game are you trying to install? Did you follow 3ds.guide to set up CFW? Have you gotten this only once or do you get the same error whenever you try to install a .cia file?

There's probably something wrong with your sd card. Assuming it has enough space make sure it's seated properly and test it with h2testw. Also where did you get the cia from?

Have you tried to install it multiple times (rebooting your console between each time)? Are you installing it wirelessly or did you copy it to the 3DS' SD card? At any rate, I agree with Uumas; you should check the SD card of that console for errors. Also, you're not allowed to specify the names of sites that you download copyrighted material from.

It happened again, and I got a picture of it. Same details, only happens when I power it off. Is this some serious problem?
