Can someone please help me with downloading official 3ds themes. I get an error code everytime I press enter download code in the Theme Store. This is on Luma3ds

Hi i have a question i want to install luna cfw on my new 3ds xl, so the guide from this link is for me right? Another question is this guide seem to said about update from 7.1 to 8.1 but for a fresh user like me just install 8.1 directly follow the step on the guide or any different step than this. It's not the problem but you can remove it in data management in system settings

No there is not. I have Luma and I can access the Theme Shop just fine. Just remove Themely and your custom themes.

I have CFW and have LUMA installed through the 3ds guide. Is it safe to have my Wi-Fi connected and perform system updates, or will that cause issues with my CFW?

Am I better just not updating?

If you have B9S and Luma3DS installed, then there is no reason not to update. If you had truly followed the guide, you would have updated at the part of the guide that told you to update.

So it's safe to upgrade, then? Thanks. I just switched from A9LH to B9S and it didn't include a system update in that section.

Luma3DS blocks the firm0/1 partition (where A9LH or B9S live) from being overwritten during a system update, so it is perfectly safe to update one's 3DS if he or she is using Luma3DS.

If you install B9S and Luma3DS, you can install games directly to the 3DS SD card using a CIA-installer, freeShop, etc. If you're on 11.5 without access to another 3DS that has CFW, then buying a flashcart for the ntrboot method is your cheapest and easiest option, yes. If you're on 11.3 or lower, you might have easier options available to you.

Also if I download luma 8.1.1 to update I just have to overwite my current 8.1 files right?

Yes. Just copy boot.firm to ctrnand.
For updating you can use Luma Updater which will update both the boot.firm on your sd and the one on ctrnand or manually download and copy the boot.firm
