Hi everyone. Noob here. I've just bought my 6 year old son a 2ds xl and wanted an opinion on what's the best card to buy for it to play both 2ds and 3 ds games.

I modded my 2DS using 3ds.guide and everything works fine. However after trying it out a little I found to have no real interest in the stuff that it allows me to do now, so I was thinking of unmodding it, but couldn't find a tutorial on how to do this.

I found several posts where stuff went wrong during modding, and people asking how to unmod as a fix, however my mod went perfectly fine so I'm not trying to fix it. I just want to get rid of it since I don't use any of the features and would like to ease my mind about banning.

Does anyone know how to do this? A tutorial about unmodding? So my 2DS is back to being indistinguishable from one that was never modded?

It already is indistinguishable from a non-modded console. Put the luma boot.firm on CTR-NAND and delete the hax files from your SD card. It is risky uninstalling CFW, and it isn't recommended.

The SD Card works perfectly, even installing Nintendo games. I think it has something to do with Luma Theme Manager or something like that

You can't directly load 3ds roms on it, however after doing NTRBootHax with it you can download 3ds games from *a certain shop*
