What did you get up to? If you installed b9s make sure you have a firm file on the root of your SD card. If the blue power light goes on then off, you are definitely not bricked. If it stays on, you may have problems but not absolutely for sure.

I followed the instructions to a T. I double and triple checked each instruction. I got past the homebrew and boot9strap but then it told me to "take out my SD card" EVEN THOUGH I WAS ON THE NEW 3DS GUIDE! I CANT TAKE OUT MY SD CARD CUZ ITS A MICROSD! It said "your device won't turn on. Thats normal. Take out your SD card...". Ive reached a stalemate. The light turns on then goes off. I'm shaking right now i'm so sad and angry ;-;

Unscrew the back and take out your microSD. It isn't telling you to do that because the guide author thinks it's funny. It is required. Your device isn't bricked, you just haven't followed the instructions and finished the job.

If you don't have emunand, format it with guiformat to fat32 with 32k allocation unit size. Then copy all files from the old card to the new one.

If you're formatting with TinyFormat, no. Your device will not force an update or anything.
Yes, linked to the device. So you just sign back in and you're good to go.

I don't believe so, but I've personally never used it. I honestly don't see it requiring an update, especially if you're not connected to WiFi at the time. That would seem a bit silly, right?

Just copy from the old card and paste on the new one.

You mean you don't have a computer or phone with a micro SD slot? Then you'll need to buy an adapter.
