really struggling here, follwed step by step and it just doesnt do anything, below is a screen of my sd card layout and a you tube vid of all 4 urls from 3ds guide. if anyone spots something wrong let me know im pulling what little hair i had left out. firmware version 9.8.0-12e ps excuse the background noise haha

Im haooy to say that i did the soubdhax way and fully got it working, took a couple of hours but did it hahaha. Now just to get games working which require an update

Update using the eShop or freeShop (the controller icon will list all the games you have, tap any yellow triangles to download that game's update)

Today I bought an used New3DS. Sadly, it's on 11.4. But most important, since I bought it from Game (Gamestop in another countries) I don't know if A9LH was installed before on my system. It only came the console itself, so no SD card or anything.

Any way I can know if it was hacked before?

Put Luma3ds arm9loaderhax.bin on an sd card and insert it to the 3ds. Then hold select on boot. If it boots to Luma configuration, it has a9lh.

I'm trying to update a friend's setup here, I'm familiar with a9lh, did a fresh install on my nephew's new3DS with the 3ds.guide a couple weeks back, went without a hitch.
My friend has an old setup with gateway launched with the DS profil exploit lol (new3DS XL EUR/AUS model)

I want to retain Gateway function on his setup (I have a gateway setup with a9lh OTPless on mine (was all the rage at the time, will work on redoing everything to get my OTP at some point)

My question is : how do I upgrade to 11.3 instead of 11.4 to retain Gateway functionality. (or maybe I need 11.2, I'm not sure anymore)

On my New3DS I'm trying to get on the eShop through homebrew, I just updated ctr-httpwn to v1.2 since the other version wasn't working. The updated version is also not working either. Heck for some reason it still says it's outdated on it when it starts up. It also says "warning: bosshaxx wasn't setup." Not sure how to go about that, when I first got it working I didn't have to do much to set it up. Anyone feeling helpful today? Thanks in advance.

Gateway is not compatible with 11.3 so you want to only upgrade to 11.2. Make sure to never launch Gateway in sysNAND mode, just in case (launching it in sysNAND on 11.3 or more will remove a9lh).

When I hit settings my firmware pops up with Sys 11.2.0-35U. Would it be safe for me to update to 11.4 if it says that? I know its bad to update sysNand but with all this new stuff I don't know anymore.

It's not bad to update SysNAND, just update luma and then update to 11.4

I just transferred all my stuff to my cfw 3ds and my pirated games are grayed out in my system settings. How do I get them back? (Already have saves backed up)
