Is there a guide to install CFW and Free eshop and is it possible on a 20th anniversary Pokemon 3ds. There is a local guy selling a guide to do it but I would rather try it myself.

Is there an alternate way of changing regions that doesn't make use of ctrtransfer since it breaks extended memory games?

used this guide 3ds.guide/get-started-(new-3ds) everything is working great. however I cant seem to figure out how to inject GBA back up's on to my 'NEW' 3ds could anyone point me in the right direction ?

Hi, It's been almost a year since I've been on GBATemp, I notice a lot has happened in the 3ds hacking community. I seen where you don't need a Sky3ds or Gateway to play 3ds roms anymore. I have both and wanted to know people's thoughts if I should just do the old way (if safer) with the flashcards or just go the Flashcard-less route? I also seen on the Sky3ds website that they are still waiting on an update to fix the latest firmware. Thanks

on the guide https://3ds.guide/installing-arm9loaderhax in section II and on part 2 of tutorial it says:Copy your console specific otp.bin from the /a9lh/ folder on your SD card to a safe location on your computer and back it up to multiple locations (such as online file storage), then reinsert your SD card into your 3DS

but problem is that when i go to the site required for otp.bin it saysinstalla9lh blablabla and when i press select for full install closes my nintendo 2.1.0 instantly

and i dont see the otp.bin why????

If I download the virtual console versions of RBY, do they have to be installed to both my sysnand and emunand, or can it be just my emunand?

GBC games don't need to reboot, so just EmuNAND.

Not sure how to do it? I have FBI but I understand I cant just install using the normal methods like for a nes or snes game ?

If you want to play the GBC VC (RBY) you don't need to install to both Sys and EmuNAND, but for GBA, you do need to do that.
