Hello everyone,
3 days ago I received my n3dsxl bundle for absolutely nothing through a reward program. It came with a charger and new Super Mario bros2. It's been almost 10 years since I used a flash cart on the original ds. Now I have a chance to do it again except I read that this can now be accomplished by hacking into the ds itself. What's the better route, flash cart or hacking the ds? My n3dsxl is currently 11.0-33a. I was hoping to play roms offline as well as some online playing. I'm sure everyone here has more experience than me now thanks

Dunno if anyone can answer this but: is it possible to purchase a Pokemon Bank subscription without having to access the eShop? I have legit copies of all of my Pokemon games, and I want to be able to legitimately transfer my Pokemon when the Gen 7 update hits, but I want to avoid the eShop wiping all of my .cia DLC for my other games and having to reinstall them.

I was following a tutorial of downgrading my New n3DS. The problem didn't rise until the tutorial said to reboot the device and take out the microSD card, problem being, I couldn't take out the microSD card so I just rebooted it, thinking I would boot back up to the normal screen. Wrong. Got a black screen. I was able to get it to the recovery screen, unable to update since it would hang on there. There was one instance where it did boot up, once. After that, nothing. No safe mode screen, nothing. It turn on with sound, the blue light, and the wifi light turns on. Can anybody help me?

How do I hard reset?
First, in what part of the guide did you stop, what is your version rn?
The problem could just be that you need to put the right files in your SD card to continue. If it is where I think it is, you just need to put a file in the SD card.

I stopped at the 2nd step, installing 2.1.0ctr or something like that. I can't check what version I'm using since it has a black screen. Before I did it it was 11.2.

Did you finish this step or was it right before starting it? Can you take out the SD card now?

I didn't finish it since I rebooted it and the tutorial required me to remove some files. I couldn't remove the SD card since I didn't have the screwdriver to take the backplate off of the 3DS. And yes now I can take it out.

All I did was make a NAND backup and rebooted it, and it does not boot. Just a black screen with a blue light and wifi light.
Okay perfect, you are right were you are supposed to be. Continue the guide and you are supposed to delete some files, and you will see that if you boot the 3DS with the SD inside the 3DS will have a black screen.
