yes, extract it using jksm create a dummy save-file of the cia version of omega ruby and reinsert it.

btw i don't own a sky3ds anymore i only have the microsd wich is still sky3ds formatted will this still work??

So what you can definetely do is use DiskWriter to extract the save file. I think it will extract a *.sav file that is 1024 kb. Maybe you can use SaveDataFiler (it's outdated now, I used it for Ocarina of time for the same purpose though) - I'm not sure about Pokemon but it's worth a shot. this in the LUMA config? By holding Select on boot?

im not understanding it 100% from the tutorial atm.

so what i am doing is :

1. changing the name of my ruby.sav to 000400000011C400.sav
2. installing savedatafiler.cia
3. opening savedatafiler.cia
4. exporting 11c4 of from the user tab in savedatafiler
5. importing the 11c4 from the sd tab in savedatafiler
6. launch pokemon ruby cia ?

yes i tried it but don't know if i did it 100% correctly this are the steps i took :

1. changing the name of my ruby.sav to 000400000011C400.sav

All my save files were exactly 1024kb from Sky3ds, Pokemon is like 10MB sav file from Sky3DS, so that's probably it. Maybe someone else has an idea and can assist you

Earlier you wrote 3DS, but option New 3DS CPU: Off( ) Clock( ) L2( ) Clock+L2(x) obviously only makes sense if you have a New 3DS
( ) Use SysNAND FIRM if booting with R this is recommended by the guide: turn it on
(x) Enable region/language emulation and external .code this will allow you to put code sections in the luma folder, for example to remove the black lines from pokemon
(x) Patch SVC/service/archive/ARM9 access - I'd leave it off by default, it's for developers. If you need it to be turned on, you'll know it

if you installed a9lh and luma, you don't have to launch luma from the home menu? all you have to do from the home menu is launching the luma updater. for the outlines you can patch the cia directly or you can put the corresponding bin files in the /luma/code_sections folder

edit: the configuration file for luma updater is only needed for custom paths and bootanimation or programms that need to load before luma does, so by default its normal that you don't have one

I havent used my 3ds since the Sun and Moon banwave and ever since have the 022 ban error. I tried searching the forums but only got solutions for the 002 code. Is there really no way to get past the 022? I do have an lcd broken a9lh 2ds from which I could extract the seed.

Hello,

i followed the github tutorial https://github.com/KonsoleHl/Guide/wiki/Part-5-(arm9loaderhax) (sorry i cant find the english site anymory)
I have a 2DS on 2.1 now and stucked on section IV in this tutorial.
My problem is that after i installed a9lh, that the luma cfw only works on 5.2. On newer versions i get a blackscreen.

And now i cant enter hourglass9, i only get a blackscreen when i press the power and start button.

On the picture there are my luma 5.2 settings. Are there right?
