Well if there is an error with one of the files or something then that's one thing. An error in the guide itself that leads to bricks... that would be bad. I write technical tutorials myself and regardless of what has "already" been covered, if the material is very sensitive and can lead to loss of money, I make sure to reiterate every single small step of the process with great clarity to eliminated as much change of error as possible. In the end I know that it is indeed noobs who are using my guide and due to the nature of being a noob they may not know these simple details (like how to unzip a file, lmao). The point of a guide is to walk an idiot through disarming a nuclear bomb, you know? In the end if that noob blows blows himself up he is going to blame me and then what do I say? "Well, didn't you ready Hawking's guide to properly handling radioactive isotopes?" And the noob is like, "you didn't mention that in the guide." So its my fault....
