I think I did everything but to be sure, if I dont, could I install homebrew again or the newer updates patched this exploits and its undoble? If you did all the guide and have A9LH then yes, you can update from system settings.

When you follow the steps you quoted, hs.app will appear in the files9 folder.Section V - Injecting FBI
If you restored an EmuNAND or RedNAND that already contains FBI as part of the last section, you can skip this section.
need more help with this where do i find hs.app and the rest
- Open Hourglass9 from arm9loaderhax by holding (Start) on boot
- Go to "SysNAND Backup/Restore", then select the "Health&Safety Dump" option to dump Health & Safety to hs.app (you can use Up and Down / Left and Right to change the name)
- Press (Select) to eject your SD card, then put it in your computer
- Extract Universal Inject Generator, then copy both hs.app from your SD card and FBI.ciafrom the FBI zip to the input folder
hi, im on step 1 trying to install homebrew launcher on my 3ds 9.6. is it common to get red screen at the bottom ? do i just have to keep trying?
One question, i already did the guide but im on 9.2, can i update via system to 11.0? (i have al9h)
If you downgraded already, and have Decrypt9 via homebrew, then you can move on to part 2.https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-1-(Decrypt9) <<im confused on what to do with the first step. my system is already downgraded and have emunand/rednand installed whatever its called. im just trying to get to eventually install a9lh. and need help already
You can do a 9.2 CTR transfer if your backup won't work (there should be a link for what to do if your SD card didn't have enough space for the NAND backup).Section IV - Restoring the System
Confirm and restore from NANDmin.bin
When hourglass9 is validating the NANDmin.bin with the sha file i get this error:
SysNAND restore (keep A9LH) failed!
What can i do?
PD: I started the guide with a 4.4.0 3DS.
Yes, the other files are just for alternate ways to launch it in different firmwares.im currently in progress of downgrading, the guide says for the Decrypt9WIP, i ONLY need to copy the Decrypt9WIP folder into the 3ds folder on my sd card from the zip file, do i just ignore the other files in the zip file? such as scripts and luancher.dat and so on
Yep look up ApacheThunder's TWL launcher. With Luma 3ds + A9LH can I boot older DS flash carts like original R4?
Tell us exactly what you're doing otherwise we can't give you any advice.homebrew launcher isnt opening on luma 3ds or any cias ive installed
Turn it on. Does it stay in a black screen, or does it show blue screen with text?ive encounter this error during my downgrade, what do i do now?

Restart your console and see if any arm9 exploits work (eg try to run Decrypt9 from homebrew). If they flash red then go back to the homebrew launcher, then you have an incomplete downgrade. In this case just run the downgrade again and it should finish off anything it's missing.ive encounter this error during my downgrade, what do i do now?

What region is your 3DS and did you use the correct downgrade pack? If you used old 3ds files or files from a different region you might be bricked.when i reboot, i think it just stays in a black screen. waited for a minute. however, i can put it in sleep mode and turn it off normally
i cant access homebrew launcher either
i think its a soft brick, am i screwed and have to force to update to 11.0?
