Section V - Injecting FBI
If you restored an EmuNAND or RedNAND that already contains FBI as part of the last section, you can skip this section.

  1. Open Hourglass9 from arm9loaderhax by holding (Start) on boot
  2. Go to "SysNAND Backup/Restore", then select the "Health&Safety Dump" option to dump Health & Safety to hs.app (you can use Up and Down / Left and Right to change the name)
  3. Press (Select) to eject your SD card, then put it in your computer
  4. Extract Universal Inject Generator, then copy both hs.app from your SD card and FBI.ciafrom the FBI zip to the input folder
need more help with this where do i find hs.app and the rest

When you follow the steps you quoted, hs.app will appear in the files9 folder.

Section IV - Restoring the System
Confirm and restore from NANDmin.bin

When hourglass9 is validating the NANDmin.bin with the sha file i get this error:

SysNAND restore (keep A9LH) failed!

What can i do?

PD: I started the guide with a 4.4.0 3DS.

One question, i already did the guide but im on 9.2, can i update via system to 11.0? (i have al9h)

Sure, why wouldn't you be able to? I would say if you don't have your 9.2 backup still, to make one before you update, just in case you want to revert back for whatever odd and strange reason. Other than that, if you already have A9LH then go ahead. Just make sure to tick the options in Luma3DS for updated sysnand.

im currently in progress of downgrading, the guide says for the Decrypt9WIP, i ONLY need to copy the Decrypt9WIP folder into the 3ds folder on my sd card from the zip file, do i just ignore the other files in the zip file? such as scripts and luancher.dat and so on

You can do a 9.2 CTR transfer if your backup won't work (there should be a link for what to do if your SD card didn't have enough space for the NAND backup).

Yes, the other files are just for alternate ways to launch it in different firmwares.

With Luma 3ds + A9LH can I boot older DS flash carts like original R4?
Yep look up ApacheThunder's TWL launcher.

Tell us exactly what you're doing otherwise we can't give you any advice.

Restart your console and see if any arm9 exploits work (eg try to run Decrypt9 from homebrew). If they flash red then go back to the homebrew launcher, then you have an incomplete downgrade. In this case just run the downgrade again and it should finish off anything it's missing.

What region is your 3DS and did you use the correct downgrade pack? If you used old 3ds files or files from a different region you might be bricked.
EDIT: did you try powering on with the SD card out?
