Hello. Whenever I press my new 2ds XL's power button, most of the time it flashes the power lights up briefly but them turns off while the screen is still black. Sometimes it shows an error saying CTRNAND is not mounted. There is a chance I can enter Godmode9 but the text changes randomly (like HOME randomly after a few seconds becomes HOMD). On very rare occasions, I can enter the home screen but a few second later either a graphical issue (like the home menu freezes and the home menu is all messed up) seems to happen or a kernel panic happens. I believe this is a FCRAM issue because a forum post seems to have a similar issue (the forum post was called 2DS XL might have hardware failure, help?) but I'm not sure. Can someone help me? I can send a photo if needed

Edit: here is an image of the graphical issues, trying to boot up new super Mario bros 2 off of a game cart, currently no SD card

Another edit: Sometimes booting godmode9 it says "The payload is invalid or corrupted". When it boots up though

is godmode9 stable when you can get in it? If so, get an sd card and put https://github.com/aspargas2/3ds_hw_test/
on the root and launch it through godmode9, this will check for ram errors. If nothing's wrong, I would bet it's a gpu issue. If you can't launch it through godmode9, i would try renaming it to boot.firm and seeing if you boot straight to it. If all else fails, I think you could launch it through a flashcart, but i have no idea how.

I have a 4gb micro sd card, it takes me a few tries to enter godmode9 (or boot the system as a whole) so I will edit this message when I can enter and do the test

It detected 270870227 errors. Is it ram?

It's toast. Going by the amount of errors there is a break somewhere between the main SoC and the RAM. Usually cracked solder balls. You can try asking a professional to reflow the RAM and SoC but otherwise there is nothing you can do.
