Hi everyone,
Seconds into launching Pilotwings Resort, my 3DS XL crashes and reports with the attached error.
This has been happening with a couple of other games such as ACNL, where I am playing for about 10 mins and the same error code (0xd900458b) appears.
From some research, I'm told this error corresponds to invalid romfs or savedata hash.
I've run CheckDisk on the SD with no errors reported.
For some context, I'm using latest stable Luma3DS and system software 11.14.
This error used to happen when I was using 11.13.
If I should copy everything off the SD card and check it with H2testw, I would like to uninstall some CIAs otherwise the SD card would take a while to copy (I have lots of CIAs).
Should I do this (if H2testw is the appropriate solution) or should I just copy everything off how it is?
Is the SD card corrupted, are the files corrupted, or is it the CIAs? Or is it something else?
Could anyone please give me any advice? I would really appreciate any help!
This is my first post, so I apologise if anything I've said or done is incorrect/not allowed.
Merry Christmas!
Edit:
Just made some progress:
When I browse the save data in Pilotwings resort using FBI, I receive an error message (attached) saying the save data is in an 'invalid state'.
However, when I browse the save data for a different game such as Sonic Generations, I can see data files.
For games that I haven't played, I receive another error message (attached) stating that no data has been found, which is expected.
So does 'invalid state' of Pilotwings Resort mean that the save data on that CIA is corrupted? After all, the error code 0xd900458b corresponds to possible corrupt save data files?
