Hacking 3DS GBA games on r4

OP, installing sth wrong to nand of sysnand would brick yr 3ds.

I have once already bricked my other 3ds, that's why i'm so affraid to install everything.

Go in rxtools. Go to "inject fbi" and check what files you need to injection to sysnand (there should be an option for this after you select inject). Put those files from the rxtools folder on your PC onto the root of the sd. Go back to rxtools and inject fbi to sysnand. Then launch rxtools in sysnand and launch health and safety and it should open fbi. Install the gba game to SD. It should then run on emunand or sysnand.

Last time I ended up bricking my device while installing FBI on sysnand LOL. But it was different case.

Never install anything to nand besides dsi games and you will never brick with fbi. An average user should never need to install anything else to nand unless a guide specifically says to.

Ok, this is starting to be annoying. Now i'm on Rxmode of sysnand and launched FBI, while trying to install game on Nand it says error, install failed, database doesn't exist so i moved to SD. There I managed to install game but instead of game, only some black square appeared which OFC doesn't work. Any help or I should just end this..

Holy fuck for the third time don't install anything besides dsi games to band unless a guide tells you to lol

The black box is BECAUSE you installed to nand, if the game isn't there it didn't install to sd and you should try again

He told you to install to sd while on sysnand, not to install to nand. Go on sysnand and install to sd. If there's a database error tell me I know how to fix it.

Yes, and launched sysnand over Rxtools. Installed it on SD but game didn't show up. Instead of it, black blank icon appeared. Which doesn't also work.

The black icon has nothing to do with installing the game to sd, it's because you installed it to nand. Try installing it to sd again.

Getting database error while trying to install on SD. Tried 2 other games also.

Go to your sd card and to the Nintendo 3ds folder. There should be ~2 folders with numbers. Go in a folder and then into the one in that. Create a db folder of there isn't one. Then create two blank text documents with notepad and name them "title.db" and "import.db" (change the file extension from .txt to .db). Do this for every folder in "Nintendo 3ds". Tell me when you're done.

Ok, now go to data management on sysnand in settings and go to 3ds software. It should give you an error and repair your database. Then relaunch rxtools sysnand and you should be able to install the games to sd.

BTW i didn't got error message to format. Should I try this on real sysnand or rx sysnand?

This shouldn't affect your emunand if they're unlinked. You went to 3ds software? It should say it needs to fix the database. You have the db folder with title and import.db within 2 folders that are numbers and letters? Are you sure you changed the file extension of the files and didn't name them title.db.txt?
