I just recently updated the 3ds firmware and I didn't know about the luma update beforehand. I replaced the appropriate files and it still won't work. It only boots when I take the sd card out, and when I put it back, frozen solid. It might be a faulty sd card finally blowing up in my face, but if there's any alternatives, I'd be happy to hear them!

What exactly is the problem? Does it fully boot up without SD? More details please.
Did you run the full write/read test with h2testw/F3 on your SD?

Trying another FAT32 formatted, tested SD containing nothing but boot.firm is the very first thing to try.

Good luck and have fun!

It fully boots when I have the sd card, but when I plug my sd card in, it'll freeze until I take it out. I ran h2testw and it came out red. If I'm completely sol, I'll get a fresh sd card.

Thanks for the response!
