Homebrew 3ds does not turn on, blue light stays on but no screen?

My 3ds does not turn on, the blue light will stay and not change but no wifi light and nothing on the screen. I have a New Nintendo 3ds XL. Running latest version of luma. It was working fine before but suddenly froze and then this happened when i tried to turn it back on.

Maybe the Luma3DS FIRM got corrupted. Try replacing it with a fresh copy.

replaced boot.firm, still not working

Take out the SD card and try again? (Assuming you also have boot.firm in your nand...)

Its funny, it would always boot up previously without the sd card, but now when i take it out it does not.

This sound more like a hardware issue to me. Try reseating/replacing the WiFi chip

Put different boot.firm (replace) or try updating luma.

this happens to me sometimes, just hold down the button again until the light turns off and it'll be good
that's just a temporary solution though.
