Hacking 3ds 9.9.0-8E - Updated with Cartridge - So no Browser

Hiya,
I was having trouble with a browser based install (so many errors i couldnt fix), So I updated with triforce heroes, thinking with a higher version i could try again and attempt to get past the issues i was having.

Currently on 9.9.0-8E. Browser should work, but it doesnt because it turns out cartridge updates disables browser.

Okay so im going to try basehax. Got my Alpha sapphire ready, got my brothers homebrew ds ready.

Go through the steps, Doesnt work, errors, goes back to the main menu.

I tried doing booting it through the game on his DS and it works as intended.

This may be due to the game having been previously updated to 1.4 on the homebrew DsS, but unable to update the target DS due to lack of internet.

Any ideas? Im stuck

Not sure if it's the same problem but for basehaxx you can't use the installer on gbatemp, use this instead https://mobile.twitter.com/mrnbayoh/status/792842843438088194
There's a Google drive version in the comments, I used the gbatemp version and it doesn't even detect the right version(had digital or but keeps saying detected digital as), I still tried to install but then I triggered the hax it crashed and rebooted just like you, however I used this basehaxx installer and everything went fine. Just tried it out yesterday and still fine, I'm on 11.1.0.34 if you're wondering.
