I am back now my status can be classified as rough, it seems a fair bit has happened since last post so time to play catch up. As always the old posts are linked at the end of this main post.

These threads have been going on for a while (even longer if you count that they happened in previous years as well) but the general idea is in each post the days (or time since last post if nothing much happens on a given day) summarises the state of the 360 scene, it is done in the subforum as GBAtemp is mainly geared to towards the GBA and current Nintendo consoles but there are a substantial amount of 'tempers familiar with other consoles as well who discuss such things on the 'temp.
We cover big releases (a short writeup, release name, region locking information and NFO), the smaller releases (those without English in are usually covered here although we will cover a big Japanese release on the rare occasions one happens), any nuke information and likewise any confirmed games added to the 360 game verification tool ABGX360 as well as any homebrew news.
We tend to avoid covering the P2P game releases as they are not especially reliable when they beat the scene to releasing (previous years have seen several big releases made ahead of street dates which were later found to not be up to scratch) and afterwards there is not much point, this being said if any are of note they will be mentioned in passing.
If you have any suggestions for the format of the post or things we should add please chime in, if you want to help out in the coming months when things get really busy (we are sure you have all seen at least one summer games drought followed by a packed autumn/winter release schedule which is usually made even worse by being able to move in these circles) we are recruiting people to help post these up.

    useful things to know
<!--sizeo:5--><span style="font-size:18pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo--><b>Nukes and related news as well as less notable releases.</b><!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec-->

Nukes, two new nukes (ABGX now lists 195).

<b>Brutal.Legend.XBOX360-DNL</b> various reasons but mainly nuked for being a p2p repack. A proper in the form of "Brutal.Legend.PROPER.XBOX360-MARVEL"
    <a href="http://i38.tinypic.com/2n9yek5.jpg" target="_blank">http://i38.tinypic.com/2n9yek5.jpg</a> <- tinypic screenshots of various abgx360 scans.
Nuke message from ABGX (a few other sites list some other reasons like languages said to be present in the NFO in fact not being there but it all boils down to this):
If you already have the DNL release then it has not yet been nuked for reasons that it is not likely to function as a proper game but certainly if you have the choice avoid it.

<b>Cars.Race.o.Rama-XBOX360</b>- nuked for invalid rar sizes. This is scene rules more than a game not working properly so have at it if you want, it is doubtful there will be a "proper" or a fix from the group. It will be in the main post section.
    Nuke message:

Nothing new on homebrew but as before it is probably worth checking out xboxhacker.net as it has been a few days now since hacks were released for the slightly later models and some more discussion has been had on the subject.

    <u><b>Less notable releases</b></u>

<b>Steins_Gate_JAP_XBOX360-KFC</b>- Region locked Japan only. It was 50/50 as to whether this would be the first Japanese game to be of such note that it made the main post. Based on a visual novel of the same name the previews I scanned through say this is a nominally interactive game of visual novel.
    Link to NFO: <a href="http://www.ludibria.com/nfo.php?sys=x36&sysid=1876" target="_blank">http://www.ludibria.com/nfo.php?sys=x36&sysid=1876</a>

    <b>Additions to ABGX360</b>
We suggest you use the link below and the abgx360 tool as the site does not use scene naming meaning it can be quite hard to tell entries apart, this is just for reference really
    ABGX360 ( <a href="http://abgx360.net/verified.php" target="_blank">Web frontend to verified database</a> ) added:

    Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2010 (NTSC/U)

In previous posts I mentioned Dreamkiller which has been seen on the PC now but it seems the 360 got pushed back to the 26th of of October in the US so I would not expect it any time soon. Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition and Way of the Samurai 3 are only a few days out. Most other games to see street releases around the same time are already out.
Release dates can be found here: <a href="http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/xbox360/" target="_blank">http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/xbox360/</a> although the dates on gamefaqs seem to be slightly "off".
As usual these posts will be back as and when something happens, I am not anticipating anything other than a few albeit fairly highly desired region dupes for about a week now *crosses fingers for early release of borderlands*.

In order of most recent to pre

    <b>Forza.Motorsport.3.PAL.X360-Allstars</b> and <b>Forza.Motorsport.3.USA.XBOX360-DComics</b>
US version is region locked US only, PAL version is unknown at this time.
    Both versions are two discs.

Not due stateside or in Europe for a couple of weeks. This is the latest game in the Forza driving game series which aims to compete with the gran turismo series on the playstation. Hundreds of cars with probably about as many tracks to drive them on all aimed at realistic driving (although there is the usual slew of enhancements to help people out). Unlike many other games from this console "generation" (looking mainly at the recent need for speed game) it is set to feature splitscreen which is nice.

    Warning: Spoilers inside!

    Region free.

As mentioned in the nukes section this release got nuked for invalid rar size but that is scene rules and will not trouble the game in the slightest.
The latest in the Cars series of games based on the the pixar CGI film franchise of the same name. For a "kids" game the first two games in the series were fairly well recieved by the mainstream gaming press and while I doubt it will stand alone against some of the bigger racing games be they of the realistic or arcade/fun variety you could probably do worse if you are compelled to find a game to play with younger family members (I say start them on FPS games early but then again I am probably not the person to ask about such things).

    Region free

I know this was done in previous posts but this should be the last now.
Brutal legend comes to us from Doublefine who previously made Psychonauts and the people behind it all were there for the better days of Lucasarts. The game stars Jack Black as a roadie on his way to set right the hellish landscape he finds himself in (naturally by the power of metal music), action/platformer probably best describes the gameplay but this is set to be anything but your average action/platformer.

    Warning: Spoilers inside!

I did not see it on any of the release lists or pre channels I have access to so it is most likely a p2p release.

Also I just read that cars may in fact be one of the 4th wave games we were discussing over http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=185528
