Imagine that ace combat 6,ninja gaiden 2 and lost odyssey (ff clone from ff creators) are exclusives to xbox 360.
All those types of games sells mad in Japan.

A lot of people are saying that the 360 sales are gonna pick up in Japan, and I hope they continue as the 360 is a very good console.

I'm glad the 360 is doing better now in Japan.
They are really putting a lot of effort in it in order to secure more exclusives and overall a better value for the gamers.
I'm perfectly happy with my Wii + DS + PC emulators setup for my gaming needs nowadays, but I've always said it, if I ever feel the need for a next gen HD system, I would defenitely get a 360 elite.
Plus that LIVE service that they have is really interesting, playing older downloadable games with revamped graphics is much better than shalling out points for VC games IMO....although I love Nintendo I will never get a VC game again if they don't do anything at all to improve them.

Lol Psyche? It's by 250 consoles. Japan is getting great deals on the 360 so who cares. When the 40GB comes out there it will out sell the 360 by about 5:1 I'd say.

Wow that's a shame. The Elite is the biggest rip off ever. The Premium is a much much better deal IMO for the price.

Good for them, it's about time Microsoft saw some solid sales in Japan. Of course this won't be their last successful stint in the region; as there are many Japanese games coming down the pipeline for the 360 that will further boost sales. And don't count Sony out yet, this is just one week. Sony is a strong company that created a gaming empire from scratch, they're not going to be put down from one week of good Xbox 360 sales in Japan.
