Well, my friend was able to fit 2500 songs with an average length of three minutes in that format on his 16GB iPod. So, figure, about 5000 at an average of three minutes per song, and maybe, what, around 4000 at an average of five minutes?

Divide 32000 MB by the filesize of the song.

Take the file size of your most average length file formatted to whatever you want, then see how many times that file's size (in MB) goes into 32,000

At 128kb/s, which you specified, a 5 minute song will be about 7.6 mb in size. Assuming you meant 32gb sd card, and not 31gb that you typed, that is actually 32768 mb of data. 7.6mb can go into 32,768mb ~4311 times. Take out the space needed for Windows disk management stuff, and you'll probably get close to 4,200 songs, give or take maybe 20 songs.

If you meant 128Kb/s instead of kb/s (big difference), then you'll get about 7260 songs.
