My EZ Flash 3-in-1 has been giving me some problems lately. About three weeks ago I beat Wario Land 4. Everything was fine, I loaded the game through the CycloDS' GUI to the PSRAM. Now I'm trying to play Pokémon FireRed/LeafGreen, but I'm having serious problems with the saving system. If I flash the game to the NOR, it seems that the card is not able to hold the save at all. If I play through SRAM, it "sometimes" retains the save, but sometimes not. I've tried with several other properly-patched games, and they all do the same. FireRed, for example, in SRAM mode, retains a corrupted file, but not the latest save.

Can this be that the battery is finally dying on me? What I find strange is that, if the battery was empty, no save would be kept...

no, you have to RTC patch pokemon games, or it screws your savs.

Usually after you patch roms you have to delete the previous saves so you can start fresh.
