As the title says I don't have any Shell's or anyway of downloading stuff. The vita is on 3.65 Enso, any help would be great

Okay, @godreborn and @Hayato213, there are no other apps accept the default apps:sleep:, and I hear there is a method involving Psvimgtools-frontend being used to install the shell but the github page is down:wacko:

That is correct that is a backup method to restore vita shell. There should be an option in h-encore to install vita shell.

yes, I believe so. I was never able to connect via qcma without one. that number will be 64 bytes long iirc. keep it safe. the number will change if you change accounts.

Try the easy front end you linked on the bottom there are options for app/game, vita shell is considered as an app so you can try that.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

But are you using any SD2Vita at the moment set up as ux0? or it is the Sony Memory Card/Internal Memory?

some apps may be able to derive the key for psv image based on the cma id (they're different). you can easily get your account id with vita shell, but I don't think it's needed. yeah, the account id will be in a file named id.dat. it will say aid, then a number. if you have access to the micro sd, you can do that.

After much trail and error I have finally got it working, I think the guy I bought it from installed it then took out the memory card to sell it, but it's a 1000 model so it has no internal storage

There was a time where we were able to bypass the school's network using a VPN that wasn't blocked on the radar. Can't exactly remember the name, but I was able to watch YouTube.

One of the sites that weren't blocked on the school's network was some file uploading sites. I would upload some games, write down the URL and take it to school one day.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
