Im due for an upgrade, but I'm the safe guy who double checks his work.

    Anyways.... Heres my todo list:
Install Bootmii Beta 2 as boot 2 and run a NAND backup
Run ciosdowngrader to get rid of cIOScorp
    Install cIOS Rev 14
Update to 4.1 via Waninkoko's updater
    Install Preloader .29
    Patch IOS 60/61 with...(See below)
Install something that allows backup loading via disk channel (Does preloader have a patch?)
And, if all goes well, make a new backup.

For patching 60/61, what do I use?
Is there a better method than cIOScorp for disk channel backup loading?
Am I missing anything? Sorry for being concerned, its just that I had an unscheduled power outage about 2 minutes after I finished a downgrade, making me paranoid >.

    For patching 60/61, use DOP-IOS v7
Not really, Neogamma would be your best alternative.

edit: Is that the Fontana by San Bernardino?

Yes it is! Anyways, is the order correct, or is there an error? Do I (download) and patch 60/61 before or after the system menu update?

whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa!

aha I stay in SB. well anyways, patch IOS60/61 with DOP-IOS before you update with Waninkoko's updater.

as for your order i recommend:

Run ciosdowngrader to get rid of cIOScorp
Install Bootmii Beta 2 as boot 2 and run a NAND backup
    Install cIOS Rev 14
Update to 4.1 via Waninkoko's updater
    Patch IOS 60/61
    Install Preloader .29
Install something that allows backup loading via disk channel (Does preloader have a patch?) [[no it doesnt]]
    Make a new NAND backup.

Just to throw it out there, you can use SoftChip with autoboot enabled for a one-click start for games in the drive. It doesn't show the disc in drive as the channel, but its (so is anything else) better than using ciosCorp with far less frustration.. and.. system IOS hacking.

    Alright you two, thanks [IMG]

One final question - Can usb loadee channels be placed on the SD card? I assume they could, obvously after patching.

@Mods Thanks for getting rid of those posts. I appreciate it [IMG]
