2K Games is the latest publisher to pull their games from GeForce Now

With the launch of GeForce Now, more and more publishers are quickly removing their games from the service. Activision was the first of which, followed by Bethesda, and now all 2K Games' library have been pulled. Such games include BioShock, Borderlands, XCOM, and more. Nvidia claims that they're working with 2K in order to get their games re-added back to the service in the future, through contracts with the publisher.

As somone who hates drm stuff geforce now gives me some level of happiness because i can run that possibly malware drm on a seporate system and keep my own system clean.
That is very true, though Nvidia may end up removing those sort of games themselves for security purposes.

Anyways, while on this site, we can see more recent news in video form, and what just popped up was Doom Eternal for Google Stadia, which won't have 4K @ 60fps as Bethesda originally promised. So what exactly is Bethesda expecting to gain by not only separating from Nvidia Geforce Now, but now breaking promises with regards to their games on the platform they expect people to double-dip on?

Im talking games like spore or even all those denuvo games. Plus i bet one the reason they removed the games is because they couldnt farm any user data from well spun up vms with empty filesystems,

In my opinion, the devs/publishers shouldn't be able to simply make Nvidia pull games from the service. As @Arras said, you're just renting server time, and running games you already own on it.
I'm not sure how they can make Nvidia pull games like this. Is it because it's advertised as a cloud gaming service and that means the licensing terms are different and Nvidia actually needs to license every game they want available on the service?
If that is the case, anyone could roll their own cloud streaming service and not advertise it specifically as for gaming. Just advertise it for general purpose high-end PC usage and preinstall Steam on it and then let users do what they want with it.
It wouldn't even require a big start capital, just one server to get started and add more as needed. It would probably be more expensive to run (and therefore more expensive for end users) unless you were willing to do colocation and purchase all the hardware yourself though.
