I can obtain both of these cards for around £8. Which one would you rate higher? This is for general game performance. I am not into castlevania so that doesn't pose a big problem if it is glitchy.
I'm using 1 GB Sandisk (Taiwan) and never once did I have any problem with any game. Castlevania etc. worked perfectly and frankly i wasen't even aware of the problem until i joined the GBAtemp community.
ANyway I can strongly recommend Sandisk!
Thanks for replies. Sandisk seems to have the vote at the moment. Here is the link to the 2gb Sandisk Sandisk (amazon)
You have to pay postage but if you buy £15 worth of stuff it is free so wait until something else you want comes up or pay postage.
EDIT: It is sold by a external vendor so you cant get the free postage but I would still think with postage it will come in under £10.
EDIT2: Postage is £4.50 which is abit of a annoyance but it still is'nt bad.
My 1gb kingston Taiwan, broke on me within the first day. May have had something to do with the old R4 reader. But I've never had that problem with the sandisk. So I'd go for sandisk. Unless you can get your hands on a kingston made in Japan.
I get my 3gb Sandisk from Play.com for only £12.50 free shipping (had no speed issues, some do) Kingston are the better cards (well most people say that) but there's not a lot in it. As i said I've and the 10 people i've got them for have had no issues with them.
for u lot in the US i found them for under $20 ($17.21) HERE LINKY you can also get a 2gb + 1gb for $25.66
