hello i got a r4 gold pro 2018 card i wanted to install homebrew on my system but cant seem to find a guide that makes any sense to me can anyone help me please.. i got ds games working on but wanted 3ds save game manager so i could edit my saves to

could you tell me the error you get?
it may be the flashcard fault or something
or you may be skipping a step

is your r4 R4isdhc GOLD Pro 2018?
i heard some of those flashcard from specific years get errors when they try to setup ntrboot(it was some time ago, maybe is different today correct me if im wrong)

it seems those flashcards are buggy, you can keep trying it may work but im not sure since i have never really hacked a 3ds using ntrboot
if you are going to keep trying check every file is in the correct location

i tried the flashcart: r4i gold 3ds menu i get the error but if i use flashcart: r4isdhc family menu instead inject comes up i wonder if it just the wrong card to...

its because your flashcard is from the r4isdhc family
thats your problem
there is other flashcard named r4i gold 3ds that flashcard is better and more expensive
use that and if you get an error or get stuck use this thread to ask again

You can restore the flashcard by following the part at the end of installing boot9strap (ntrboot)

can anyone help me trying to restore the flashcard but cant seem to do so, it say i should made a backup of the firmware but i didt see that in the guide before injecting.. can i still get the cart to work again with ds games?

get in got it sorted mines the 2018 one but tried the 2017 firmware someone posted it works again woooooooooooop thank you everyone for your help

They are basically the same card.

wasent too sure if it would break or no being different but worked great.. do you know if i want to put a bigger sd card in my ds it self can i just copy all the files off the 4gb one on to a new one will it work
