that was actually interesting... they didn't explain alot that I thought they would... but they did do a good job... Marcan needs to slow his ass down... serisously... Bushing was ok, but they over explained the simple things, and what we really wanted to know, they only touched on...

All in all, I'd give it a B- score... could have done better, but was an interesting watch...

i was in back of the room and it was realy hard to understand marcan, maybe he should drink less club mate (most people at this congress seem to be addicted to this stuff ^^)

I think it's probably best it won't be out till after new years. I could imagine if it was released now there would be a bunch of bricks from a bunch of drunk and stoned geeks playing with their operating system on new years eve night. BootMii looked pretty simplistic, boot to whatever you want. How long until somebody copies the IPhone's GUI for Wii, seems like it would be some fairly easy coding to make Homebrew Channel resemble the IPhone interface. Change the Icon dimensions, import Iphone icons etc.... Damn I'm rambling again. Would be a fun showoff thingy anyways.

Note: I keep WiiConnect24 on to keep the USB ports hot so that I can use my Wii as my ITouch charger and don't have to connect it to PC to charge.

Jeah exactly. Next time I'll be there in person but this time I did not have time to travel to germany. :/
(Well 'travel' is a big word. But my aunt lives in Germany and it's a small effort to go there then.)

It was great to see another presentation about Wii hacking. This was really interesting, best time I spent in a long time

The only downside was that they didn't really show off BootMii. Don't get me wrong, it was awesome that they showed something at all, but I would have liked to see a lot more. So it can boot the homebrew channel... but what else can it do?

Other than that, great presentation! I really can't wait for BootMii now!

All in all I think their presentation was a little bit confuse. Had I not allready known what they were talking about I wouldn't have understood it. Maybe they should have gotten some help from tmbinc in making the presentation. His are very structured very clearly, every year.

@djdynamite123 I lived in Liverpool for a few years (most of the time in the middle of toxteth) and people had some "odd" (it is standard in the area* and who am I to argue) accents but fast is not a word I would use to describe it.

*funniest moment was two arabic ladies suddenly switching up and talking in absolutely flawless scouse.

Back on topic it looks like I missed out on a decent presentation. Hopefully the torrents that appear will be a bit faster (I am lucky if I get 30k a second, coming from usenet back to torrent for these videos feels obscene in some way).

lol, i love scousers and jordies! theyre quality, my lass is amazing at doing scouce and jordy, fuck me the girls down newcy and LPool are naughty, and some not too nice hehe

yeah so atleast we understood how they managed the attack etc, didn't really want to know about all the IOS crap too much, the same thing kept getting mentioned even though it was a different part of security etc.. ohwell that's just me not wanting to know the nitty gritty
