hey ether wasup bud...you can have from just 4 frames (default) to about 36 if buby78's calculations are correct

well if your creative you can control both the timing and speed of an animation..

i use a tool from dvdvideosoft studio free to grab a AVI video for the animation now...i used the saw 3 trailer for this 30 frame one

in contrast...Lets say you want to have a more detailed animation and slower...then you use every frame or :frame for frame" rather than skipping 2 or 4 or 6 or 8 or up to 16 if you really want to get alot in the animation...compare with aeris in the 20 frame...note how slow that one looks because it has more frames to achieve a shorter animation but a more detailed one watch her hair and the swaying very subtle but detailed animation none the less

..see what im sayin bro? or another good trick for extra deatail use the same frame twice

even 3 of each fram in the animation
this means like a animated gif that it will be 3 times slower in appearance

Dvdvideosoft also has a tool called free video to jpg converter that i find useful for making a avi into jpg pcs...then you have a detailed template with over 1000 frames to work with..Now you just pic what 30-36 pics you want to use (thats right its not official but buby is working on 36 frames as i type this

so aside from the gfx techniques you have that workin in your favor...so for the most part its flexable

AVI to Blank Channel Animation

Step 1:
use dvd video softs free youtube downloader or video converters it comes with a LOT of tools in the studio Tongue and ether download a youtube to avi...or convert a existing video on your pc to .avi format...point is GET AN AVI VIDEO YOU WANT TO USE FOR YOUR THEMES BLANK CHANNEL Tongue

Step 2:
Open dvd videosoft studio and choose number the app called Free Video To JPG Converter
choose the AVI you want to break down into pictures Wink then an output directory for the pictures to go to for example c:/my documents/new folder or where ever you prefer to have your working folder Tongue

Step 3:
Find 4 frames (up to 36 frames) you want to use for the animation...Next open Faststone photo resizer and under the batch convert tab you can click ADD to add frames...go ahead and add all the frames of JPG files you want as the animation ..Now we will make a few settings for faststone it will remember them and will only need to be done this ONE TIME...every time you launch the app afterward it will remember all these settings:

Go to the box that says Output Format: change this to PNG and below that set a output directory for the resized PNG files

Go to the box that says Use Advanced Options and tick that box and the advanced options tab will become available...

click advanced options to enter the advanced settings.....next click the small circle labeled IN PIXELS...In the box that says New Width: type in 128....New Height: type in 96...under method choose Nearest...click OK... Now just click CONVERT and all the pics will be in PNG at a res of 128x96 all that is left is to rename the files accordingly!


Name animations:
