So the womens team will include Gabby Douglas, Jordyn Wieber, McKayla Maroney, Kayla Ross and Aly Raisman.

The mens team has Danell Leyva, John Orozco, Jake Dalton, Jonathan Horton and Sam Mikulak.

Source: I went to the Womens trials finals.

So are we gonna get one of these pointless threads for each country that's competing in the Olympics?

I see ten names and that's all I see.
I have no idea who these people are or what they will be competing in.

I'm kinda sorry for Nastia Liukin for not making it, as she was the 2008 all-around champion. She messed up on the uneven bars and didn't make it through to the Olympics.

I'm really wishing the world takes a cue from Futurama and incorporates Limbo and Sex events into the Olympic games. That will get people's attention for sure.

The only time I watch the Olympics is for the Mens Hockey. The only sport worth watching.

Swimming is another thing I don't understand. Well, diving more likely. Seriously, they get graded on who makes the smallest splash? That's boring as hell, let's see who can be the healthiest but still make the biggest splash.

Gymnastics is my favorite summer Olympic sport to watch, but I must admit the names mean nothing to me. I'm sure we will get a lot of cheesy promo videos about the girls though.
