Hacking 2 problems!

Problem one:
When wad manager 1.7 gets on the NAND emulation screen,
my wii-mote shuts off! I tried syncing and I also tried
YAWWM (Same problem) I got my wii-mote in 2006 with my
wii.

Problem two:
When I load up cIOS installer, it just gives me a black
screen. It doesn't even load up.

Please tell me how to fix these problems.
