2 New GBA Games for 3DS Ambassadors Revealed

    It looks like GBA downloads 6 and 7 are going to be Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros 3, as well as Kirby and The Amazing Mirror.

    We already knew about Super Mario Bros. 3 (Advance 4).

    As for the second game (Kirby & The Amazing Mirror) , I never heard about it. It doesn't look too bad, though.

    Or not.

    In all fairness this topic drew my attention to the list, so it wasn't totally worthless. Granted, I can play damn near any GBA game for free, but to be fair to Nintendo they're not trying to fob us off with shovelware crap, they're giving us some damn good stuff for free. Kudos to them.

    Anyone else look at this and actually think 2 new games were/had been made >.>

    Hope they'll be around 30 to choose from, and even then the list will be limited.

    I'd be bloody impressed if they found a way to include the e-reader content for Super Mario Advance 4.

    For example, spend a play coin to unlock a card on the virtual console menu.

    THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN.

    The E-Reader was so rare I've never even seen one for sale outside of eBay, and I collect that sort of stuff. So I've never played any of the extra content, and I'd bet pretty much everyone is in the same boat. Was that content ever hacked for pirates to use? I don't recall that ever happening.

    Well except for Wario Ware this is a very good lineup of games ^^ i feel lucky i bought the DS when there was such a great discount ... got if for 170€ (instead of 250) now its down to 160 so yeah for 10 euros more these games ^^

    Zelda is a maybe (they'll likely sell it later though), and Golden Sun 1 and 2 Nintendo would probably have to beg Camelot to let them give away for being all "we dun goof'd."

    I'm thinking that Nintendo might go ahead and make all the E-Reader content available at release.

    It's so great that they included SMA4!

    It was even possible to develop(?) own dot codes which could be scanned by the e-reader (see caitsith's page). Regarding the SMA4 e-reader levels, you can download a savegame which let's you play them on a flashcart/emulator. I'm not sure if posting a link would be against the rules (the save does contain the copyrighted data of the levels), so you'll have to search on your own. :/

    For fact, I have a save file with 30 e-Reader levels saved in.
    I doubt the data is copyrighted. It IS a save file after all.
    The only thing copyrighted would probably be the e-Reader card itself.
    But nowhere does it say you are not allowed to share your save file with other people.

    (Besides, there's already a link to all of that in the GBA section.)

    Well, 3 games left to be revealed...One better be Pokemon, and one better be WarioWare: Twisted. I could care less what the other one is if those two are released.

    I never really liked Amazing Mirror… I liked Nightmare in Dreamland a lot though.

    And I never really played Super Mario Bros. 3, so I guess I'm excited for that.

    My hopes for the tree games still left to be revealed…

    • Pokémon Pinball: Ruby and Sapphire (probably unlikely, but I LOVE this game [​IMG]) (actually maybe it is likely… They might not want to release a full Pokémon RPG, for the reasons given above by Pingouin7, but a non-main series game like this could be perfect.)
    • The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap (I've only played the beginning… maybe actually owning the game will make me play it more, because I really want to!)
    • Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (I feel like this may be pretty likely to be on the list of games we'll get. It's amazing.)

    I'm looking forward for trying IceClimbers because I never played that before.
    Furthermore The legend of Zelda, Mertroid Fusion, SMA4, Mario Kart and Kirby.
    Hope they'll include a pokemon game or golden sun also in the list! (although pokemon seems unlikely to me)
