Now when a zipfile with no password exist, why does nobody rerelease it so it will get a nice official number?
I'm playing it right now.
It seems fairly realistic, but I can't really say beyond I suck at actual pool, and I suck at this game. ^.^;;

Well I kinda knew this day would come. In my eyes the only REAL scene groups are ones you never really 'hear' anything about on public web boards such as GBATemp and other sites. This is no way a bash at GBATemp.
The directory Killer_3D_Pool_Multi5_EUR_GBA-EP appeared on a Private GBATemp server at 10:58 this morning.
The server is in no way a Pre site or anything like that, it is just used for staff to access in order to post screen shots etc.
I saw the release being talked about in the IRC channel of #GBATemp, where apparantly the release was listed on GBARL.it I checked the staff server, and sure enough there was the directory 'Killer_3D_Pool_Multi5_EUR_GBA-EP'. I went to start the ROM in VBA in order to take screens for the GBATemp portal, when all of a sudden I got the pop up for a password to be entered. I was like 'hmmn' so I checked the .nfo and was like OMG!
Well this is the lamest thing I have ever come across in the GBA scene, and up until now I kinda had a respect for a guy posting in this thread '-mrc-'. I've known him for some time and even supplied him ROMs for RS and other groups in the time GBA has been around. (I can prove this with various screens and logs)
Now I don't know if Endless Piracy are RS or if -mrc- added the password to the release after it had been released to 'proper' sites, or even if the file was only passworded on the GBATemp staff server, to be honest I don't care.
I wondered how GBARL.it got their screens for the site, guess how? -mrc- sent them, can you believe that?
Same goes for PocketHeaven, only they (rOss) get the password... but why do rOss and I get the pass, but GBAR.it do not?
I guess we qualify as L33T
I don't see how 1 guy can decide who gets to play a release and who doesn't. The ROM is stolen property after all.

So the friendship ends here, and so does my time in this scene and on this board, theres no point in stayin around. The GBA is dead and every release now has some story behind it or some lame .nfo
What you have to ask yourself is, who are the real sceners and groups? Ones that take releases from FServe and GBATemp lamers, like RS and many others? Or ones you never 'hear' about.
After all, why should you even care? Its a kiddy handheld FFS
