OK So my memory card is not working right at the moment and it is greatly annoying me.
Any help is very much needed.
Here is the rundown on what seems to have happened.
My PC locked up at one point and so i pulled the card out of the USB port without "safely" removing it first. Bad idea i know but i had no choice really.
So anyway, a couple of my games vanished in one of my folders and they were replaced with files/folders with wild names. So the next time i plugged it into my PC to add a couple new games, i decided to run a scan to fix the problem it created.
It said it fixed it then said something about making new files (which are hidden it seems) and all was well for most of the day.
Then my cousin came over and i was showing her "3383 - My DoItAll (U)" and again, all was fine.
Then i turned off my DS, did some things and maybe 20 minutes later i restarted it to try and play a game, but much to my surprise the game stuck at the LOADING screen and never actually loaded.
The menu's work perfectly and quickly but the games (all i have tried) stall out at the Loading screen.
So i put it back in my PC and tried to load the card..... well let's just say that after many restarts, safe modes, alternate user accounts, and lots of CTRL+ALT+DEL hitting, i have no clue what's going on with it.
When it's in my PC and i try to open the G: drive it stalls out usually and takes forever to load if it loads at all (lots of "NOT RESPONDING" messages and restarting Windows).
Took over 5 solid minutes just to copy one .sav file to my PC.
This is really annoying since i play my DS >A LOT< and i honestly cannot afford to replace my card.
I Have tried scanning it for errors again and even virus scanning and defragging but it makes everything go so slowly that they never even get close to finishing.
I Couldn't even make a backup file for it.
Any info you guys need, just ask.
Please help if you can.
Thank you
