@jenne: Giving rom links isn`t allowed here. Check the GBA Scene Link Section Here.

I don`t like the video quality but these cartoons are great.

Heh, "Ninja Turtles". For some reason they changed that to "Hero Turtles" back then. What a great cartoon that was back then. I remember there used to be coins you could collect. Your usual trading cards too of course... with a piece of purple gum in each pack.

Yup, that's the horrible truth. Quite ridiculous if you ask me [IMG]

*sniff* 256Mbit, I guess now's the time to "upgrade" one of my 128Mbit carts...

    128 + 256 should do.

Was it? Why was it a big "no no"?

I always thought the Ninja Turtles was the American version of the cartoon. They looked a lot more darker than the ones in Hero Turtles.

Anyway, I got that strange blur in the title screen too so it doesn't seem to be the screenshot.

While I'm on about title screens, notice that in Japanese games where it says "Press Start" you can press A to continue. You don't have to press Start like you do here. So basically, they use English but don't know what it means. Just for those that have been wondering why some Japanese games have those English words in them. It just looks cool [IMG]

they also changed michelangelo's weapon from nunchakus to a grappling hook!

    quote from imdb.com:
"In the UK, Ninjas and their weapons are a taboo subject, and several kinds of weapons are illegal to show on TV (Such as Katana and Nunchaku). To try and get around censorship laws, the show was marketed as "Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles" and the names of cerain weapons and places were changed. "

Actually, he still used nun-chuks in the Euro version and Raph was using his original Katanas too.

"Ninja" sounding too violent... What were they thinking [IMG]

    Yeaah

basically UK set the rules for other European country also [IMG]

Here Michelangelo had nunchakus on TV series and on the movies but title was still Hero Turtles. All that was censored here was the title. ridiculous [IMG]

edit: heh x_comp was faster [IMG]

x_comp can you still face the evil word, NINJA?? [IMG]
